Arrived Monday morning.
Received call just now -- Wednesday.

Payout ... $725!
Offer at local jeweler was $425 so I am very pleased.

No -- I didn't leave my name when I called to ask how long it would be -- but what a nice coincidence that I got my offer about an hour later.
I think 43.6 dwt is just over 2 oz -- and just like before, Gene explained that my gold wasn't pure gold -- the best piece I had (just one 19k ring) was only 83.5% gold. So, I'll take it!

I sent mine out on Monday to USGB, they received it yesterday at 3pm. Waiting (not) so patiently. I don't even know how much was in there, but even if I walk away with $100 I'll be happy!

OK, I sent mine out last Tuesday and they received it last Wednesday. I know I didn't send $700 worth of gold like some of the other posters, but I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that the shipments will be processed in the order they're received.

EDITED TO ADD: I guess I spoke about an hour too soon. One, they just called . Two, apparently I did send close to $700 worth of gold. $612 to be exact! I didn't weigh it so I figured it was $200 if I was lucky (I didn't have much and my pieces weren't that heavy). I am ecstatic!!

If only I could get my ex's wedding band from him - that sucker was heavy!

Usually the band and yellow gold is 10K ( harder) and the rose and green are 14k I think.

So does that mean they received it on Monday? Or did they receive it on Friday? I only ask b/c if it was received on Monday, and you'll hear something on Thursday, then if my package was received on Tuesday, then they should have something for me on Friday, right? Jeeze, I'm obsessing aren't I?

I have several pieces with diamonds (maybe 30 point range) and one with emeralds and diamonds and another with amethyst and ??
I was wondering if they remove the stones to return to you or just add in an additional amount?
ANYONE??
I was SO hoping to get to them but appears I will have to mail.
OH, ARE THEY STILL GIVING EXTRA 10% for DIS members? Even if you go to them??

When you print out your info for shipping, there is a packing slip and I just wrote Disboard Member on there and highlighted it.

Yes, I think so. I think the delivery date is just a window of estimated time but if it says out for delivery, they should get it today.

Just checked my status and it says the same thing, so we should hear together. Did you remember to put Dis member on your paperwork??
