I just called USgoldbuyers and they are now not accepting anymore new customers until further notice.
I just called USgoldbuyers and they are now not accepting anymore new customers until further notice.
I wonder what that means for someone like me who has already emailed them and gotten the info (FedEx account number) to send my stuff out but I just haven't sent it yet.![]()
I'm wondering what this means for me since I sent my stuff yesterday?![]()
Me too! I just mailed my stuff TODAY, went to Fedex Kinko's because I had recieved the email with instructions yesterday!
So I wonder if will they accept it, or send it back??
That would be a shame..it took me a long time to decide to go with usgoldbuyers...
right now gold is up to $935 an ounce..hope it keeps climbing.
and to add to that..wonder if I should email them a heads up that I sent my package, before hearing that were not accepting new customers till further notice?
I think since you've already called them and gotten the info, you can send it. I couldn't even get to talk to a real person, just a message that stated they were experiencing high volume and we're not accepting new customers.
okay..I really didn't talk to them though, I clicked a link to request an email of information. I got the email, and followed the instructions on how to fill everything out. They wouldn't ever answer the phone, But when I called it didn't say we aren't accepting new customers. It just said leave a message.
Oh well..guess I'll find out.
I just got my call from USGB, sent my package on 3/19 and they received it on 3/20.
I had 16.1 dwt (mixture of 10 and 14k, don't know the breakdown) and they offered $251.92.
I'm happy with that. That's more $ towards our summer trip to Hilton Head, for basically junk I had in my jewelry box that I hadn't looked at in years.
Did you leave a message?

FINALLY just got "the call" from USGOLDBUYERS
$416.00... I'll take it...
I would go ahead and send it but just expect a long delay.
They are like 3 or 4 days behind.
I sent mine last Wednesday just got the offer now.
Goldfellow seems quicker but you have to wait 3 or 4 days
to get their packet in the mail.

Me too! They do give you the price based on the day they received it.
They received my package early Tuesday morning and called me last night, 7pmish. They offered me $561 but to be honest it seems really low - I had 1.9 troy ounces of gold and 7 ounces of silver and they offered me $561.04. The silver was worth $71 and the gold the rest. Except for one small item the gold was 14K. Something doesn't add up to me, it would be worth more than what they are offering so I am stuck right now. I told them not to do anything and they said they would "put it in the vault."
Also, it's $15 to send back the things you don't want to sell / they don't want.
I'm thinking on it. Really, it was stuff I don't use. Still, I don't want to get majorly ripped off - just because I want to sell it.![]()
I know how you feel. They called last night and offered me $411. All was 14k except for a few that were 10K. Local shop had offered $360 with out the 10K.
Goldfellow or USGoldbuyer?
I was going to ask the same thing!
Didn't you weigh the gold? If you did, you should of been able to figure out how much the offer should of been, and when it came, if it was off, you could of questioned it.
Hi All.
So, to answer the previous questions - I used US GoldBuyers. I figured they were closer to me (I'm on Long Island) and offering higher prices. I used the weekend to think over my offer, as I said, it seemed really low to me.
I called today and am now speaking to a manager to figure out what the deal is. I even told him about this site!
