Pardon the sarcasm, but the first time we stayed there, we were at the farthest point from the elevator, on the 4th floor...We just returned from a long weekend in standard view (4113) and could not have been happier with the room....Outstanding view of Illuminations at night and faced bus stop.....Seriously renewed my faith in BWV.

On a side note, went to Beaches and Cream for Lunch yesterday, they were clearing everyone out of the pool as someone had diarhhea.....everyone was allowed to use Luna Park pool as Stormalong was closed until the next day! Not sure why the delay, can only guess it was to enable them to shock the pool with chemicals.

I think they have to wait 24 hours after they clean and treat it.

Glad to hear you gave it a second chance and saw how nice BWV can be!

  I am a little worried about what "smiley" Nick will post for the second half of your report.

Why of course it is. BWV is a fantastic resort. You know it has just gotten the title of the "elite" DVC resort ever since the new boardwalk view booking policy came out. LOL! :)
Glad you had a great trip!

YIKES!

It reminds me of the time DBF and I were about to get into the hot tub at CSR and a guy getting out said "You DON'T want to go in there!" Apparently one "guest" had a little too much to drink and spilled his cookies in another "guests" shoes that were on the side of the hot tub. The second guest got angry and cleaned his shoes in the hot tub. They closed the hot tub for the rest of the day, (it was mid afternoon) and one of the lifeguards was tracking both guests down to have a word with them!

Glad you enjoyed BWV though! We haven't tried that one yet, but it's on the list for a future vacation.

Glad you had a good time...

We stayed in a 1-BR Sunday night at BWV, as well. We booked the room less than one week in advance! (Tuesday, I think)

We were pleased with the "managable" crowds at both EPCOT and MK, and the uneventful drive home on I-4 last night!

Well, I felt bad for the people who had booked BCV specifically for SAB. I couldnt believe what a nice view this studio was, and was really surprised it wasnt preferred view, even though it wasnt facing water or anything.

We were able to get a waitlist for both nights about two weeks before we checked in.

I thought Magic Kingdom was pretty crowded Sat night, even Small World had a 15 minute wait.

Nick and Cindy should be honored for their unparalleled DVC wit :)

This is better than Scott Adams' stuff from a decade ago.

This reminds me of the time we were staying at Ft. Wilderness, and someone (a child, I presume) left a stinky surprise on the steps leading into the pool. And yes, the pool was immediately evacuated and closed for 24 hours. My DD, age 17, was only 4 at the time and she still remembers this!
