Not at all. I'm happily married. As a matter of fact, an old friend confessed more than friendly feelings for me recently and I ran as fast as I could. I don't want to be involved in any of that mess.

I was just confused by what you were saying. You made a strong statement against these women, yet it seemed like you were in the exact same boat (except for the papers). It seemed very much like hypocrisy to me, so I was asking for clarification. And I don't really care what you're doing, but you're like a soap opera, so I try to follow along.

Wow never knew how many married women were so eager and anxious to cheat on their husbands until I got on Facebook. Then there is the type that publicly posts about how great their husband is and all the great things he does, meanwhile she's cheating.

Then there's the two women politely chatting with each other about mundane things, both married, both not even knowing what they have in common which is they're both cheating with the same guy.

Even weirder one woman in particular is a great person, good mom, involved in all types of charities, posting on FBook about how great things are at home, but all while living a double life. I see now how FBook can cause so much drama, it's toppled governments I see so easily now how it can topple marraiges.

Another women, even though it is well known she had an affair on her H, now completely overcompensates with all her post about how great her H is and all the wonderful things they do together. All her pictures she posts of her and he H kissing, hugging etc. IT made me sick so I deleted her.

You can really get a sense of people's character by what they post on FB. I have seen a lot of people who come across as very self-centered, narcissistic, trouble makers, drama queens...etc.

I very rarely go on FB now because of it all. I have come close many times to deleting my acct. but, I like keeping in touch with my family and friends who live far away. I went through a mass deletion of many "friends" instead of deleting the acct. Then I hide myself from them.

I have 2 family members who are therapists, and they have lots to say about Facebook. It really is highly problematic in so many cases, because those people struggled with boundaries and good judgment already, so you throw in Facebook, and it has made it so much easier.

They can't really tell me anything as it's all confidential and private, but they have dealt with some seriously disturbing and heartbreaking Facebook marital issues with their clients - it's becoming more of an issue than finances these days as the top reason why people are in their offices looking for help with their relationships or for help with reparing broken families...

I don't get that either!! I know several people who actually set up their young kids accounts for them - and lie about their age to get it approved.

You do realize that most people who cheat aren't really looking to cheat. It isn't like they set out one day thinking "I'd like to cheat on my wife/husband. Who's willing???"

They tend to be missing something inside THEMSELVES, find validation and that "new love" connection and fall into cheating. Most cheating starts out on the emotional level with bad boundaries...flirting, attention and grows into a cheating relationship.

Facebook makes it VERY easy to reconnect with crushes, flirt and chat w/out your spouses knowledge. It is a place where boundaries are crosses easily.

YES, it is 100% the cheating spouses fault and they are responsible but Facebook opens up avenues to cheating that weren't there before. It makes it easier. Just like researchers in the 60's noticed that the growth of professional women in the workplace resulted in more cheating.

It certainly isn't Facebook's fault and it doesn't stop me from having an account but it isn't as black and white as people make it seem.
