Just rerented a minivan for 1 week from Dollar.com for $202! I used the code entertain to get this rate. I sure other rates will be available for cars. I say rerented this one because I first reserved the van in June for $230, then l checked last month on the rate and it was 209 using the fish code, checked again today and it was 202 so this makes 3 times I have reserved this van (and cancelled 2). It really pays to keep checking all the way up to your travel times. I am saving more than $7 since the lower the rate the less the surcharges are. So keep checking those rental rates!!

Wow, that's a fabulous rate....we have a mini van reserved through National using our Disney Club discount and it's going to be $350.32 for 5 days (I think that might be a weekly rate). Please, what is the code that you used? Is Dollar right at the airport terminal or do you need to take a shuttle bus? Thanks in advance!

Try ENTERTAIN code at Dollar or look at Budget for $199 per week if your travel dates fit their special.

Jenneg: I used the discount code -entertain this time. I guess it depends on your dates, you can also try fish, mcc, kiss, fvg and just see which code gives you the best rate for the time you travel. I have used Dollar many times and have always gotten a clean car, not too much hassle at the time of rental and real easy to return. And yes dollar rental is on the lower floor of the airport terminal. NO shuttle!!

Thanks a million....I used the ENTERTAIN code and sure enough, I was able to get the $202 weekly rate. With all the extra charges it comes to $248.46 so I really am saving over $100! PLUS, they're located right in the terminal! I actually had to call Dollar because my computer was having a whack attack and they were SO nice and helpful.....I was even able to change another reservation I had made elsewhere for another trip. What a nice surprise. And I thought Iwas getting such a good deal with my Disney Club membership! This will go a long way to offset the over $200 it cost us to rebook our flights when we found out our flights on Midway would not be happening! Thanks again!

REF using the Entertain code, do you need to show a special membership card in order to get it?
TIA
DC

When using any discount codes I have never had to show a card, coupon or a membership for anything to get it. I always print out a copy of the reservation showing the price and the conformation number. The rental agents have never questioned my rate, even though they are sometimes surprised by the cheap rate I got.

Rule of thumb I use is check my Reservations of any kind on Fridays or up to 2 days before going on a trip checking if the rates have gone down.
I resd a minivan at Dollar for $202 week three weeks ahead and got $199 when I checked in at the airport counter on Friday 8/2.
The beginning of the month and after a Wensday when the airlines known if they are going to fill the weekend flights.
ENJOY! :jester:

I specifically asked if I needed to furnish any particuliar ID at the counter in order to get the special rate and the guy told me I didn't. I know sometimes with AAA and the Disney Club you need to physically provide the card, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

Just use the codes and get a confirmation number.
In this world with discount cards and coupons this Dollar code over the phone could make you feel that something is missing?
BUT there I are electronic airline tixs !
ENJOY! :jester:
