Wouldn't it be great if WDW would

have two or three parks with early entries and randomly divide all the resorts into two or three groups and, depending on where you are staying, you would have an early entry park for your resort. I mean, it sounds like ee days are crazy now and the reason is because they keep building new resorts, so of course there are more people who can take advantage of ee days.

Just my thought I thought today;)

The craziness of EE days is the very reason I am going to avoid them when I go in August. We'll just be at another park at opening while everyone else is at whatever park has EE.

To me the EMH is only useful for MK, the other parks don't really have much open during the early hour. And when you do get to go on something you like, like ToT or RnRC, nothing else is open. If I was only staying at a resort for three days, and I didn't get MK on one of those days, I would be madder than a wet hen. I use the other EMH days to sleep in, especially if we go to E-Ticket night or plan DQ or a water park.

I have never had a problem going on all the rides at the MK when we go for EMH. It's only after the park opens for the rest of the guests or about 10:30 AM when the park starts to fill up.

They aren't crazy at all.

I think it would get confusing with which resorts go when and all that. Sometimes you may not get to the park you want during your vacation. If they keep rotating different resorts for different parks on different days.

No I don't think it is a good idea. What if you only took a short vacation and your resort wasn't having EE days when you were there?

That would mean you might have to stay at a more expensive resort.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. I think Early Magic hour is just fine the way it is.

With as much confusion as there is regarding the current system (even with brochures and large signs at every resort, we get multiple families every morning at MK expecting EMH to be there), I can not see how any more complex of a set up would be "great". I suppose that kind of a process could allow for more flexibility in planning, and possibly reduce the attendance (when there are less than 10k in a park, a couple thou less really is not much different).

Bottom line: You try telling a bunch of groggy/confused guests "Yes, we are open an hour early for some resort guests, but not your resort today." Too messy.

We think EMH/EE works great and we do not see it as being too crazy - we just get there for when it opens and go commando for a couple of hours and then slow down and smell the roses

Thanks

You will notice that the above statement contains what some would view as a contradiction

I think things are fine the way they are now. It wouldn't be financially feasible for Disney to do this on a resort by resort basis. It wouldn't be worth it to open up a park early for only 2000 or so people.

we did early entry for AK only and it was crazy! I couldn't believe how crowded it was! We just rushed to Safari, but had to get FP for Kali and just went to the new Dinoland ride while we waited.

The rest of the trip, we just went to a different park that didn't have ee and used fastpasses to our advantage, especially at MK.

Even e-ticket night, which we have always loved, was crowded and we won't do that again.

We had a great trip, but EE and e-night is just not the same, at least, not the week we were there (first week of July)

Well - the obvious conclusion . . Disney must build a new theme park for every two new hotels! Then everyone would fit in the parks nicely on EE mornings!

I still think my original thought was good; there's always some people who don't understand something. We need more options for all the people staying on property! :D

good idea but i think too many people would get confused

EE is a crazy these days...we are never doing them again(unless we go at Christmas b/c then EE starts around 7ish) too many people know about them now and it's just a mess. I like sleeping an extra hour and going to a less crowded park...lol
