Would you still wait for air in May?

If you were trying to get airfare for weekend before Memorial weekend would you grab what you could now? Wait for a ding?

The thought of paying $140 ONE WAY is making me crazy. DH says just get it & be done. It is what it is. I am obsessing.

I believe SWA still have the Florida Frenzy sale. I just booked last week at 157.10 roundtrip for our trip in May or 69 one way. I just don't think I can do better. Check it out. Good Luck!

We got a roundtrip flight on Southwest for 170.60. We are going May 23rd. We booked the flight on March 2nd. I don't know how much cheaper it will get. Thats why we didn't wait.

Unfortunately the Florida Frenzy deals for our dates weren't there. I can't figure out if SWA & AirTran are truly sold out (of reasonable fares that is) or if they are playing the waiting game. I was able to pull up the seating charts for United & US Air for flights that would work & although they seem to less than 1/2 full (granted not everybody picks seats on the majors when they book) they are still raising prices. One flight I was contemplating last night was $20 higher this morning. You snooze you lose!

Guess I'm just going to have to grit my teeth on this one & be done with it. My luck they'll post a ding tomorrow!
