Would you say this is a good rental price?

We are renting a regular size SUV for the two weeks surrounding Christmas--12/17 to 12/31. I have a quote for just about $400 for the two weeks. I thought that was pretty good (about $200/week). We have never rented a car during this holiday time, so I honestly don't know what the rates usually are. What do you think?

$400 for an SUV for two weeks around christmas sounds like a good deal to me. I have a midsize rental in September for a week and that is just under $200.

For the time, the vehicle and the price, I would say it was quite good. I would book it and keep checking in the coming months to see if it gets better. If so, book that, cancel this.

I actually have already booked it. I'm hoping for a coupon to come out so I can also add that, although the rates will likely be higher by the time the coupons come out for late Dec.

I agree with the above poster always keep checking prices for rental cars can fluxuate . the price you got is a good price for holiday time .
