Kali during 12-4 - 12-10 of 04? If so when would you ride it, (morning, day, or night)

We are going back...thank you thank you GOD. and we were not able to ride this this past April. We really want to ride it, but wondering if it will be too cold to ride it.

It would totally depend on the temperature as to whether or not I would ride it. It can be in the 80's during the day in December and it can be in the 40's. You will most likely just want to make that decision when you get here and see what the weather is like. I'd do it in the afternoon though no matter what, the sun is at it's hottest and you'll dry a lot quicker.

Thank you. Since Ak will more than likely close at 5, it looks as though we could ride it like an hour before it closes.

You may want to ride it a little earlier than that, perhaps around 1-2pm. Once the sun starts going down the temperature starts to drop and you could end up freezing. Brrrrrrr!

As a fellow Texan, I'm assuming you're used to very warm weather. So I definitely wouldn't recommend it then. Heck, I got wet on Kali in May and felt kind of cold afterwards! Maybe if you try on a very sunny day around mid-day, very early afternoon. But unless you're used to cold weather, I wouldn't advise it!

Yep born and raised in TX. I can handle it, but not sure about DW. We will see. We hope that most of the trip will be cool weather, espically around the MMVMCP nights.

I want to ride Kali in Jan. I will just take a change of clothes with me.

We did ride Kali in Jan. I got off totally dry and my DH was soaked through! He was freezing and Disney got a lot of $$ out of us for dry clothing. Ride it for sure cos its a great ride but do wear a poncho/ bring the spare clothes! We did it as our last ride of the day for minimal damage.
