Would you pay these OOP too?

We are going for 5 nights and are on the DDP and have quite a few character meals. Our TS for the week are:

5/9 - Akershus Princess Dinner - 1TS
5/10 - Donald's Safari Breakfast - 1TS
5/11 - 50's PTC Dinner- OOP
5/12 - Planet Hollywood Dinner- OOP w/ $15 g/c
5/13 - CRT Lunch - 2 TS
5/14 - Crystal Palace - 1 TS

I think I calculated right and chose the cheaper ones for OOP. I'll be getting the $300 giftcard back, but I'd rather not spend it all on dining. I'm figuring a max of $50 for each of the 2 OOP meals.

If it was me, I would probably pay the CRT oop (since the price includes gratuity), the total would be less than $85 for the two of you for lunch there, including tax and gratuity. Then I'd use the 2 TS from that for the 50s meal and the Planet Hollywood (or if you only chose that one to use up the voucher, then you are free to pick something you'll like better instead).

But that's just because I do not like Planet Hollywood and even the $15 credit cannot make me go back there.

If you want/need to do that Planet one, then I would pay oop for that and then for the Tusker House breakfast (about $33 including tax for the two of you) and use the TS credit for 50s PTC, which is going to be slightly more than that even if you do not order dessert (and more than that if you do).

UNLESS your Crystal Palace one is for breakfast, in which case that is the one I would pay oop - because it is even cheaper than Tusker House. This is not true if your Crystal Palace ADR is for lunch or dinner.

I've seen mixed reviews on PH and I've been to one in the past, just not in DTD, and thought it was OK. I guess I could just skip it and see where I could get another TS for that day. That day was our Resort/DTD day or whatever park DD wanted to go to then head to PH.

Our Crystal Palace is breakfast. Never even crossed my mind to pay for CRT

I guess we could always do the Characters in Flight during the day and get an early dinner at Hollywood Studios (If I can get a ressie) to catch Fantasmic! since it's showing that night.

for our up comeing 8 day trip we are doing something similar. Part DDP and part OOP,and mater of fact we plan on doing PH oop. On the qualty of food at PH,well IMOP its not that bad typical fried food affair,but then again I love fried food. Is It of high quality,no not really but the Atmosphere with the movie and music memorable makes the expeince worth It,but that again Is in our oppion.
