HI we are going on 11th march, we are planning to book the tea party as it's my dad's 60th. my question is would you pay for the kids? they 3y's which they say you should pay but the eat so little it seems a waste of food. they share a happy meal between them & they don't eat all of that.

I'm not tight just hate to waste food & money what would you do. they are very small for there age & still wear 18-24 month clothes

I totally understand what you are saying but i am the sort of person that just cannot lie.:confused3

I would have to pay for them i'm afraid. Remember the tea party is cakes and pastries and sweet treats so you may find they are more interested in eating a fair bit.

I wouldnt say even DH and myself ate enough food to cover the money we paid but for us the whole experience was well worth the £9 each we paid.

The fact we had quality time with 8 different characters made it worth every penny.:cloud9:

Another who would pay as I'd rather not set the example of asking my kids to lie if a CM asked their age.

I know there is no way any of mine would answer that they were a lesser age :)

HI it's not the money & if they were asked their age they are in the habbit of saying 65 & their not that???

i know how it seems but at 3 they wouldn't understand that we had paid for the food let alone not paid.

does anyone know how to book this? can we just book it when we arrive or will that be too late

You can book at City hall or in your hotel.

We went a week before my youngest daughter was 3 so we didn't have to pay but we were never asked her age anyway. My other daughter is 4 so we paid for her.

The food was lots of sweet things with a few savoury things which they picked at to be honest by the end - as we didn't feel rushed - they'd actually eaten quite alot. As I was diet free for a week i had a fab time! :rotfl:
The cookies were fabulous!

It's still worth the money for calm character interaction.
