I seen they added an evening extra magic hour to HS when we are going. I’m guessing this will be super crowded!
I just wonder how long the Star Wars rides will be the during it.
Would you go that day or skip it?

It really depends on what your goals are. As previous poster said, if it's RoTR then nope, don't bother. If it's other rides, sure I'd do it. We love evening EMHs as opposed to the morning ones. We aren't early morning people, well my son isn't. It seems to me the night hours tend to be less crowded.

Well we would have to rope drop for ROTR for the boarding pass and FP some rides before extra magic hours .

I enjoyed evening EMH on January 26, I did Fantasmic, then went over to Galaxy’s Edge. The wait for Smuggler’s Run was much shorter, and when I was done, I got to wander the land with less people around and get some pictures.

Hoping to hear some more discussion before my trip. Don’t know if it’s worth it since we didn’t buy hoppers, and don’t want to get stuck in the most crowded park of the day, if EMH cause people to flock there.

Same here . We do not have hoppers.

When EMH was scheduled for the morning on my trip, I thought I’d might try them to be able to RD without anyone slowing down the line with FP.

Evening EMH open up the possibility that the first hour will still be non-EMH eligible guests working their way through long SB lines they jumped in right before the end of regular operating hours.

Does anyone happen to know how how many evening EMH are scheduled for HS this month? Looking for some data on approximate wait times.

how many EMH for February? they are every Sunday evening, scheduled all the way through the end of August

Normally I avoid EMH, but for our April trip that day (Sunday) is 60+ 6; might need to be there to get FP+ for headliners.

On another thread, there's a list of when the various headliners have been available at DHS. It looks like they've all be available much earlier, even at 60+2 or 3, if you're okay with afternoon times. The addition of MFSR and MMRR seem to be doing a nice job of balancing out the demand for SDD in ways that the previous tiering didn't.

thanks! don't make FP+ for 10 days yet. Planning one full and one partial day at DHS to do the rides we want. probably going to do stand by for MFSR.

I think I will wait to hear more reviews from people who have gone. I’m wondering how mid summer crowds will be.

Went to HS EMH sunday feb 2nd. It was originally supposed to be a morning emh but they changed it to 8p-10p 2 or 3 weeks before our trip. Not sure what time we started but were able to ride Smugglers Run, Toy Story Mania and Slinky Dog. Toy Story Mania line was the slowest moving of the three. I think we got in line for SDD dash about 5 minutes before close and off the ride around 10:20-10:30p.
