Would you find this funny?

Marseeya, if I saw you and your hubby in those shirts, I would think you guys were awesome, and so would my gorgeous, blond, thin 18yo daughter, who actually has a sense of humor.

I´d definately laugh with you! All it shows is that you have a great sense of humor. Gotta love that!

I would think it was funny as well, although I'm always leary to see a pooh sized teenager or child wearing it and laughing at themselves. I always think somewhere deep down inside they really don't like laughing at themselves :(

My son has a friend who is a little plump and he wears one all the time that says "land for sale", as in he is so big he qualifies as land. All of them, including the guy that wears it, laugh about it but it sort of makes me sad :(

But I do enjoy a good funny shirt :) My son has a closet full, and I think yours would be funny too.

I agree, I wouldn't want to see a younger person in a shirt like that. I wasn't fat as a teenager, but even if I had been, I wouldn't have been able to poke fun of myself like that.

I'm also thinking about getting this t-shirt. Now mind you I am in a wheelchair so I can do this. I think it is ROTF funny:

OMG that is a funny shirt. Both the one in the OP and the wheelchair one. :)

I'd be laughing with you too, because it's just that funny.

I saw a shirt on a skinny, white-as-white gets tweenage boy the other day that made me giggle. It had the Warner Bros shield logo and read "If you see a cop, WARN A BROTHA!" :rotfl2:

TOV

I'd laugh. I think that's totally funny. It sounds like something I'd do.

Be honest... would you laugh at me, or would you laugh with me?

This girl I know from school (early 20s, athletic, very attractive and physically fit) was wearing a white tee shirt that had written on it in gold sparkly letters, "It's hard work to look this good."
I would definitely be laughing *with* you. I'd also be laughing *at* the girl you know from school. All about the context. ;)

I think it's hysterical!!!! I'd be laughing with you.

I love the anorexia one, too! That made me LOL!

Tell the skinny chicks to go eat some chocolate and learn to laugh a little! Life's too short to take yourself THAT seriously!

Love it. I would laugh with you. Being pooh sized myself I would wear one too just to see what kind of reponse I got from others. :rotfl2:

I'd laugh and probably ask you where you got them, since DH & I are "Pooh sized" people as well.

I find that sometimes, people who are very "into" their looks can't see the humor in a lot of things.

Too busy being attractive, I guess. ;)

I guess I (honestly) would think it was sad. I would think deep down you were poking fun at yourselves in a bad way. I just think being overweight is not funny. Sorry-just being honest.

I saw several sort of like the wheelchair one that I thought of getting for my youngest DD (who uses a wheelchair), but I didn't think she would wear them.

One had the wheelchair with a stick person and the message was "Stairs: The Final Frontier". The other one had a sort of similar picture to the one you posted and had the wheelchair at the top of the stairs. The person was on the stairs and the message was something like "Wheelchairs don't do stairs."

i love it!!! this is totally dh and mine's sense of humor!!! life is to short to not find the humor in it!!
irony, sarcasam, dry wit, gotta love it.

one of dh friends has a pink t-shirt that say's "don't laugh at my pink shirt, it used to belong to your girlfriend"........what makes it even funnier is he is gay, but you wouldn't know it (well unless he is with his bf, hahaha kinda gives it away!!

I would definitely appreciate that T-shirt on you for your sense of humor than the girl at school for her arrogance. Having a sense of humor is a GREAT quality..... arrogance is a character flaw I just can't stomach.

Laughing with you, and adding you to the list of invitees to my "funny party"..... it's a little game my mom made up when I was little - we would said "Someday we're going to have a funny party, and so-and-so will be invited (if we thought they were super fun to be with or funny)....or if we thought someone was a fuddy-duddy, we would say so-and-so can't come."
You can come. :cool1: The school girl can't come. :rotfl2:

I can definitely see where someone might get that impression, but I assure you it's not the case with me. I can't speak for others, but the overweight people I know feel the same way.

For me, it's all about mocking and poking fun at a society that believes that the measure of a person's worth is in the size clothing one wears.

My thoughts exactly.
And throw in a good portion of envy for not being able to have the dedication and discipline to get and stay in shape.
And I must also remark that I hate the term 'Pooh-sized'. I'm always asking myself if people would call themselves 'Shamu-sized' if this were a SeaWorld-board ;)
Now that society has nearly won its war against smoking, it should turn its attention towards fighting obesity.
