Would you do this?

I might consider an overnight trip but flying there and back in one day would be too much for me. Of course if Cant and Silly were there with a blender wellll....maybe. :rotfl:

Sort of done it.

When DH and I were first married, we had season passes to Six Flags, which gets you into any Six Flags anywhere (I think). So we bought tickets for some godawful hour of the morning, flew down to Houston and went to Six Flags Astroworld for the day. Came back later that night but boy did it kick our butts.

Was quite an interesting experience though. Thanks to one of the rollercoasters (I believe it's called the Cyclone, though I won't swear to that) I was a full inch shorter when I got off than when I got on. Also, I had the most terrifying experience to date on a wooden coaster they modeled after one that was orginally at the old Coney Island amusement park. The sides/backs of the cars were so tall that short little ol' me couldn't see over them and I was never so scared in my life because I couldn't see what was coming.
