Would you do it again?

I love all the input!!! This has been the biggest debate our family has ever had. I think we have put more thought into whether to get the DDP than how many kids to have!!! Getting the DDP is actually the easy part. Definitely a good opportunity with a family of 7. The hard part is do we give up our super price at the Swan to stay at a mod in order to get the DDP. If it would just be offered for free, life would be easier and I could move on to obsessing about something else.

We were in a similar situation with the Swan for our trip in May and since we were able to save about 25% off a MYW package we decided to live it up and stay at the AKL (still significantly more than gov't discount at Swan) but after reading comments on disboards, decided that we want the peace of mind of the DDP and magic of staying at Disney property

I'm hoping that some kind of great special will come out for August. Even 25% off would be nice. We are debating CSR or WL if we get the DDP. I have been reading all the menus and have made our ADR's, so I am ready for the DDP, just need to make the final decision...

I've heard rumors about possible free DDP, but it probably depends on if your time in August is considered "peak." Wishing you luck and pixie dust in getting discounts
