Would you cancel EMM for next Tuesday?

Weather looks ominous... lightening and rain all morning, and off and on all day according to the weather report for Tuesday 10/4. It's all my husband, Matthew's fault. Ha!

This is our only MK day (other than Halloween party Th night) and I don't have a FP for 7DMT, PPF, OR Pooh--and we love those rides..

EMM is $356.80 for my family.

Would you cancel?

Hurricane Matthew though. I live in Florida so I know thunderstorms are normal and weather is never right--but I've also ridden 7DMT in the rain and it was painful! My 5 year old: "That was your worst idea ever!" (direct quote) after I decided we should use the FP+ even though it was raining... lol.

We're going Tuesday as well. Accuweather has something totally different. Wunderground totally different as well. I gave up. It is what it is, we're gonna go for it and hope for the best.

I would not cancel. Given reports of how Disney has compensated when 7dmt has been down previously for EMM, I would hope for some pixie dust if the weather didn't work out. We did EMM a few weeks ago and it was the best part of the trip- hoping the weather cooperates and yours is fantastic!

No, not until way more is known that they know currently. You said you live in FL, so you know that the forecast you see is simply a guess today. They don't know what Matthew will be doing by Tuesday

Hi again (I posted on your other thread as well). This happened to us on our EMM day, 7DMT was down until maybe 8:30ish. Managers were there immediately when we walked into Fantasyland to explain the situation, apologize, and told us we could use our bands for FP access through noon or maybe 1 (I can't quite remember). I thought it was handled very well. We were happy because we got three or so rides in once it did open during EMM, plus went back several other times later in the morning.

I have to echo something someone said on the other thread too. We found the CMs at the breakfast among the nicest/most delightful CMs we've ever encountered at MK. Part of our enjoyment of the EMM event was the CM interaction we had there.

Did you end up going and do you know if it remained a sell-out? 11/29 is currently sold out and we (fellow dis-ers going around that time) are trying to figure out how crowded a sold out MK EMM feels. I had been under the impression that most of them weren't selling out, so I was surprised to find this thread and see the mention of a sell out!
