While I understand you would have liked to know..I would have considered it a sweet thing, and taken him out to diner to thank him LOL! Heck, no one could sneak and take ours down. It means dragging the boxes back out of the attic, having a mess all over the room, and lots of time to wrap each ornament, and pack it.
If you really wanted pictures that bad, wouldn't you have taken them before today, January 4, if it meant so much to you this holiday season? Seems to me like you're looking for something to complain about. Otherwise I misinterpreted your post and I'm sorry in advance for that. Like you said, get over it. You should look forward to next year's tree - and make a deal with your husband beforehand agreeing that you'll take it down together, or by yourself when you're ready. Belated Merry Christmas!![]()

I wonder if your feelings were about more than just the Christmas tree? The tree represents the whole holiday season and all of the down-time and family time that often go with it. Maybe part of your sadness was saying "goodbye" to Christmas this year. That is how many of us feel when it is time to come home from WDW. I know I surprised myself and felt silly as all get out when I started crying on our last monorail ride.
