Would we make it in time?

So I am planning a trip to Disney for my mom for Mother's Day. She knows about the trip but what she doesn't know is that my sister is coming too. I wanted to do something to surprise them both (since they're both mothers) on Mother's Day. I was thinking about doing the Sangria University at Coronado Springs but I don't know if we'd make it in time.

Mother's Day is our Magic Kingdom day and we have a Be Our Guest reservation at 1:00pm. The class at Coronado starts at 2:30. Would that be enough time?

If not, does anyone have any other ideas that would be fun but not super super expensive for Mother's Day?

You'd have to SCARF down your food then hoof it to the contemporary to get an uber or get a minnievan at the front gate.

If you cancel the BOG reservation, you'd have more time.

Maybe go to trader sam's at the poly instead?

Even with an Uber you'd be cutting it WAY close, if not miss the Coronado event completely.

You would basically have to scarf down your food at BOG in 30 minutes or less (which, if you're paying to eat at BOG it seems a waste to rush through your meal and not enjoy the atmosphere a little), run to the front of MK, either hope there's a bus to Coronado, or hop the monorail to the TTC and get an Uber/Lyft from there. Rule of thumb at Disney is always to plan about an hour of transportation between locations.

I would see if you can get your BOG reservation moved up to 11-ish, both things are super fun and worth trying to work in! you can always set up a Reservation finder (on touring plans or mouse dining) so you aren't just randomly checking the website

I LOVE Trader Sam's but it's always such a crap shoot there. Sometimes you can get in and sometimes you can't. That's why I was hoping to do something with a reservation.

You think after going for 20 years now, I would know that, but sometimes I try to be optimistic! Lol.

No, definitely nowhere near enough time.

Sounds like it would be beyond close to me.

Alright y'all since we established that I most likely won't make it, can we offer some alternatives? :earboy2: LOL
I would say my alternative would be to set a reservation reminder thingy at touringplans, and check whenever you get a chance any random time up until then, and ESPECIALLY the day before and the DEFINITELY the morning of, and you might be able to get an 11am or so (if that is when they open?). I think that the Sangria is more interesting and unique, so I would go ahead and make that, and then decide the day before or that morning on a late breakfast or early lunch in MK (at any of the park restaurants) before you go back to CSR.

I do have a touring plans alert set up in the hopes I can get an earlier time. I don't want to cancel BOG because both my mom and sister have been dying to go and I was able to secure a reservation last minute. I should've used that as the surprise but I couldn't keep my mouth shut about it.

Maybe a trip to Wine Bar George for some wine? But part of me feels like every place on planet earth is crowded on mothers day which is why I just go see a Marvel movie with my mom.

My favorite all-time family Disney pic is us in front of the castle on Mother’s Day! Stop for a nice pic together—it’ll be priceless to your mom :)
