We are heading back to WDW in Aug. This is our 9th annual trip. We have always done the DDP. This year DD will be 10 and considered an adult for food. She does not eat that much. I can't see paying for the DDP for her at adult rate. My 2 DS could easily eat an adult portion at her age-- not her. We will only have one under 10. Its me, DH, ds14, ds12, dd10 and ds6. We are starting to research the TIW card.
Last trip we found that we didn't eat the desserts -- had too much food and kept forgetting to use the snack credits till the day we left. We all have AP's too. We do like to sit for a TS for a dinner-- gives us a chance to cool off in the hot august heat. I am also toiling with the idea of skipping a few TS to have QS for some dinner meals.
We are planning on being in the world for 11 days. split stay at POR and AKV. We plan on doing breakfast in the room for both stays. Is a toaster allowed in the room? Also planning on bringing my Kuerig to make coffee and oatmeal. We will be driving so no big deal to put them in the van.
Would the TIW make sense or would we be okay with just an AP discount? Thought I am not sure bc I read AP applies for up to 3 people in the party and we are a party of 6.
We are planning to return in 2014 but not sure if it will be less than a yr from this trip. Might be the same time frame ( we have to be back for HS football season).
Any suggestions ?
