Just curious - while we were at DL in mid June we were on the JC and had an incident happen. Apparently there was an issue with the ride so the boats were stopped ahead of us, however our captain was busy talking and was facing the riders and not the boat ahead of us so he did not see this. I tried to warn him several times but he kept talking and ran into the boat ahead of us. Luckily no one was hurt, it was quite a bump. Anyway he was very rattled, had to call in the bump, took his Disney id out of his wallet and said well folks I probably won't be needing this, thanks for being my last ride, and was nearly in tears. I felt so bad for him. And boy was our boat quiet after that. We sat out there for about 15 or 20 minutes I think pretty much in silence before they let the boats move on, he continued the tour but the whole mood was bummed and it was not a fun ride (and JC is usually one I really like). Anyway we talked about him for quite a while and were hoping that he wouldn't really lose his job but
so I was just wondering if anyone knew if this would actually cause him to lose his job. It sounded like he was fairly new to the JC and he was really enjoying it.
