Would this even be possible? TSMM then Jedi Training Sign Up

We will be at HS on a recommended day, Sunday in early Feb (Super Bowl Sunday to be exact). How quickly will Jedi Training fill up?

Assuming my family is close to the front of the line at RD, go directly to TSMM then head over to sign up for Jedi Training. What are the chances that there will be space available for 2 of our kids?

In the past we did the reverse. But the standby line at TSMM is bad after signing up, you are at the back of the RD rush. So I thought about the opposite. TSMM is our family's favorite ride. And Jedi Training isn't a high priority this trip (older kids have done it, youngest is still too young). We will be in HS all day so show time isn't a factor.

I would say zero to none. My son was wait listed 3 times when we arrived at Jedi Training well past RD. We finally got him a spot when we did the RD dash last year. We weren't at the very front of the tapstile line, so once we parked the stroller and got in line for Jedi Training, we ended up with a 12:50 pm slot. At that point, they were already counting out people and warning those closer to the back of the line that they would most likely be wait listed. Again, this was at RD. My personal strategy would be to RD Jedi Training and try to get a FP+ for TSMM for later in the day.

I was going to give you 50/50 odds, but PPs experience seems more specific than mine. I did RD with my kids and were near the front, went straight to Jedi sign ups without running, and many runners passed us. By the time I actually signed up, the first 3 shows were sold out, but I wanted a later slot anyway. I *thoght* the CMs at our return time mentioned that signups had filled that day by 10:30, which means there had been *somrthing* available up until then - more difficult if you need 2 kids in one show, though. I had gone on a medium crowd day (level 5) in Oct and you are going on a day that EasyWDW rates as a crowd level 3, with Studios being described as "dead" on super bowl Sunday in the past.

It's always recommended that if Jedi Training is a must, you should sign up first thing. If it's not a must and TSM is, then go do that first, then see if there are any spots left for Jedi Training. If you're good with a later show and it's not a really busy day you could luck out.

Thanks for the quick feed back. You all relayed what I was thinking - that it would be very risky. I'll just have to feel out the kids as to what is a priority - JT or multiple TSMM rides.
