Yes, and even without a medical condition, sometimes the need presents itself really quickly, especially if you're drinking the recommended amount of water.
Just today, I drank a nice tall glass of lemonade at lunch (we had been at the park in the heat), went to the bathroom afterwards, then went to my daughter's soccer game, which I promptly had to leave after about 15 minutes because I had to go again. It's not that I didn't plan. Well, not unless depriving myself of liquids I'm thirsty for is considered a "plan"

Anyway, I think it's ridiculous for anyone to attempt to judge whether a stranger's need to go to the bathroom is "acceptable" or not.
