Would these meals affect touring?

We are planning to spend a full day in HS. Planning for lunch in sci fi and do the fantasmic package in mama melrose. Would it take too much time? Should we not get the fantasmic package and just line up with everyone? I know even with package, we need to be there about half an hr to 45 min before.

We are doing Sci Fi for lunch as well but doing 50s for a later snack.

When are you going? We don't bother doing the package and just get in line. We never had a problem getting in.

We are going in the summer so we need a break from the heat. That is why we do a sit down lunch.

Try to get as early a lunch as possible at Sci Fi. That way you won't be sitting around waiting to be seated. With an ADR at or near the time they open for lunch we have always been in and out in under an hour. Usually we just get burgers and milkshakes though, so we're not waiting for several courses to be delivered/eaten.

I would make sure to make the reservations on the first day that you can. It gets very busy around the holidays.

I would not do the Fantasmic package. I don't think that it is necessary.
