I would like to bring 3 suitcases down (allowed 2) and realize I have the option to pay for the extra.

However, since the suitcases can nest - could I put one inside the other and then fill it with some clothing? As long as it's not over the weight limit, does it matter if a suitcase is nesting inside another?

If I can, that would save the extra suitcase fee on the way there. I would be paying the fee on the way back as it would be used seperately to bring stuff back.

If not, it may be better for me just to purchase a 3rd suitcase while in Disney for our trip back home.

We nested two suitcases halfway around the world (used 3 to bring US products to brother overseas, 2 to bring back just our stuff). As long as you meet the weight limit, it's great.

Just like others said "yes." I have done it before when I knew I would be bringing a lot back. As long as you are under the weight limit.

Just be careful with the weight, if your suitcases are older, they in themselves can weight a quite a bit, and then packing clothes inside the inner most can push the weight up and over quickly.

Really common with people from Australia and NZ! We have a two bag allowance for international flights, we pack a bag within a bag all the time and shop shop shop whilst we're away!

Packing a collapsible duffel bag, without wheels or a frame, makes the most sense.
