Hello! Through a stroke of luck, as of this morning my daughter (age 30) and I are going to WDW for 3 nights the end of this month. And that's the extent of my plan so far. I don't even know if we'll go to the parks. We have been to WDW dozens of times, so we're fine with winging it a bit. I do have some questions, and would love suggestions and advice. Pretty sure we'll be driving.

1. What are the chances of a walk-up seating for 2 at Boma?
2. What are the chances for a walk-up seating for 2 at 'Ohana?
3. Are they serving at least some of the 'Ohana items at the Tambu lounge?
4. Is there any advantage to trying for tickets to the Boo Bash on October 29 instead of buying a one (or maybe two) day ticket? We've done MNSSHP a few times so Boo Bash is not a must-do, even if there's day-of availability.
5. Lounging around the pool, riding the monorail, and Disney Springs all come to mind for non-park fun. Any other ideas?
6. If we end up flying, Magical Express is no more, correct? What's an economical alternative?

Thanks everyone!

I'm not sure how to contact a moderator, so I hope they see this: since only one of my questions is mildy related to theme park plans, could you move this out of this forum? Thanks.

Hi, Congrats on the pixie dust! I'll be arriving at the poly on 10/30 :
As far as walk up at Boma and Ohana, I think your chances could be decent. It's only two of you. Keep an eye on those reservations a couple days before. Stuff always opens up in that 24 hour mark.
They do serve a few Ohana items at Tambu lounge, I believe the noodles, potstickers, and wings as well.
Remember that Boo Bash is after hours, so it's not as long as MNSSHP now. We are skipping it, but it was never our thing anyway.
Magical Express is still a thing! Until the end of the year.

1. What are the chances of a walk-up seating for 2 at Boma? Check the night before as people have to cancel to avoid fees. Otherwise, your chances are minimal
2. What are the chances for a walk-up seating for 2 at 'Ohana? Even less than Boma
3. Are they serving at least some of the 'Ohana items at the Tambu lounge? We had noodles and potstickers in August.
4. Is there any advantage to trying for tickets to the Boo Bash on October 29 instead of buying a one (or maybe two) day ticket? We've done MNSSHP a few times so Boo Bash is not a must-do, even if there's day-of availability. You will see and do more with the 2 day ticket...
5. Lounging around the pool, riding the monorail, and Disney Springs all come to mind for non-park fun. Any other ideas? Resort hopping with food/drinks at places like Geyser Point, Trader Sam's, Three Bridges, Enchanted Rose, Dahlia Lounge
6. If we end up flying, Magical Express is no more, correct? What's an economical alternative? Magical Express is available through December 31, 2021.

Thank you to you both. We have so many decisions to make! I appreciate your help.

1. Who knows? Stop and ask. We stopped at Beaches and Cream in July. 75 minute wait. They took our name, we left and did other things and went back. Be Our Guest - stopped and asked - five minute wait due to a cancellation.
2. See number 1.
3. No clue. We are not Ohana fans.
4. We did Halloween Party once and we decided we like other things more.
5. Spa, spa, and spa. Tours if they are up and running. Check out all DVC properties as all have onsight tours now.
6. Magic Express run until the end of the year.
7. We'll see you there. Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
