Would I be more likely to get a ADR at BOG if I try to book it, or my travel agent?

Pretty much everywhere on our food list is pretty easy to get into except BOG, so what Im wondering is how more likely I am to get a BOG res, letting my TA handle it, or trying to get the res on my own? Or are my chances pretty much the same either way?

Tell her to do it, but try yourself as well. You can always cancel one if you manage to both get reservations.

Personally, as long as there isn't some rule with your TA that prevents you from doing some things for yourself, I would try to make the ADR. The online system rolls at 6:00 am ET and the phone lines open up at 7:00 am ET.

Are you staying on-site? If you are, then you can make ADRs for the first ten days of your trip on the 180-day mark. So you have 10-days to work with to see if you can get a BOG ADR.

Now, it's worth noting that even if you can't get a BOG ADR at the 180+10 day mark, don't lose hope! People's plans change and cancellations do occur. When I'm going to WDW, even if I don't get the ADR I want at my 180+10 day mark, I tend to check daily to see if anything opens up and I've almost always managed to get it at some point (sometimes within a few weeks of leaving for WDW). So it might take some work (and patience), but there is always a chance that you'll get the ADR later.

I agree with the others that I would try to get it yourself, but let your TA try as well. If you don't get it, your TA might; or you both might get it and you can cancel one. I also agree with the pp that if nothing is available on the first try, keep trying as people do cancel and you never know if/when something might become available. Good luck.

Is it easier on the phone or online? Is 7 am the time for online as well?

Sorry to ask a question on someone else's thread, but I do have a question. My trip was made through a travel agent. Everything is linked online when I go to My Disney Experience. When I go to make my ADR, do I just need to make sure that I am logged on to my account so that I can make my 10 extra days also?
