Would I be disappointed with POR?

We usually stay at BWV, but may do a couple of nights a POR to save weekend points! Would I be really disappointed with the resort after staying at BWV? Do the King bed rooms also have a trundle bed for a little one?!

Of course POR is a bit of a step down from BVW in terms of space, amenities, and location, IMO it is a wonderful resort. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by it. We will be staying there in a couple weeks to save points and extend our trip a few days.

I have never stayed in a King room there son I don't know about the trundle bed. It is my understanding that the "Alligator Bayou" rooms all have trundle beds.

DH and I stayed there several times and enjoyed it very much. I 've never stayed at BWV (actually we are staying there for the first time this Jan.) but as the previous poster said, POR does not have the same amenities/space that a deluxe resort has. That aside, I think POR is just lovely. Our rooms were always immaculate, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. I prefer the "rustic coziness" of the alligator bayou section, but the mansion area is also nice, just a bit more "formal".

We had a great experience at POR back when it was Dixie Landings. We had the best front desk check-in ever during our stay there. The grounds were very nice, and our room had a great view. We actually found it to be a bit more relaxing that Boardwalk since there wasn't as much hustle and bustle.

We just returned from POR. We were in Alligator Bayou #14. We had a regular room with the trundle bed. It worked out great and we were steps from the food court.

I am not 100% positive, but have heard in the past that the king room do NOT have the trundle bed.
Hope someone else can give you additional details.

My daughter and I just stayed at PO-FQ a week ago. It was an incredible resort and I completely fell in love with it. I stay at the BWV all the time (it's my home resort) and did not miss it one bit while I was staying at PO. I hope your PO-RS stay is as magical as my PO-FQ stay was. I'll be posting photos of the resort at some point over the next few days, so stay tuned. By the way, we swam in the FQ and RS pools; enjoyed 'em both. And we saw Bob Jackson's show at the RS and he was incredible. I just can't say enough nice things about the entire PO resort complex. This is all my humble opinion.

We like PO-FQ better than PO-R.

We are planning on staying at a moderate next June to save on weekend DVC points, too.
