Would have been a perfect WDW trip opportunity...

Going to FL for a business trip this Thurs & Fri, flying home Sat. Boss is paying for my airfare. Disney is 2.5 hours away from the office & DH and I have APs...and enough airline credit for his ticket...and 4 food vouchers left over from last trip. DH has to take the days off from work anyway to watch DD1 while I'm gone. My thought was "great, make it a long weekend and we can all go to WDW Sat & Sun". We would have only needed to pay for rental car and 1 or 2 nights at the resort. Unfortunately, no one is as adventurous as me Seems silly not to...
Guess I'll have to wait till next year.

You need to kick some adventure into that hubbies backside.
Tell him you have a romantic weekend planned for just the two of you and Mickey.
Buy something edible and entice him with that.
Or tell him you will continue to wash his socks for the next year if he goes with you. whatever works.
I remember when my close friends brother who lives in Daytona Beach died. It was expected, he had been sick for a very long hard two years. The death was a relief for him and the family.
We drove to the funeral and he said since we were so close to WDW we should spend some time there having fun after all the sad times of the funeral. We had a good time and it helped both of us remember the fun we had with his brother on the past trips.
A little vacation might just be what your hubby needs after the grind of a business trip. Peggie

I agree with the previous posters -- you have to make him go. How often do you get such a great opportunity? Since he'll be off anyway taking care of your DD what could be more perfect? Do whatever you have to do to make this trip happen!!!

Go and stay there without him. There are going to be lots of Disers there this weekend. Check the meets board, you could hang out with some of them over the weekend.

i agree ..whats up with hubby...geesh..my husband would say lets go....when do we leave...man oh man...just drug em..throw em on the plane and have the stuff wear off when you get there...ha ha ha
