How is everyone doing??? Michael, your mom, you, and the rest of the family??? Is the surgery still a go for March 17??? Your entire family has been in our thoughts and prayers, keep us posted, and let us know how everything turned out with Michael's surgery.

Yes, it is still scheduled for the 17th as of today. Michael was sick last week with a cough and a fever, and though he hasn't had a fever since Sunday, the doctors are considering putting off the surgery until another date. As of right now his surgeon is still deciding whether he's well enough to go ahead or wait. Hopefully we'll know one way or another today, everyone is on edge waiting.

I have been praying and thinking about Michael today, was he able to have the surgery, if so, how is he doing? How are you and the rest of the family doing? Reply when you get a chance.

I too was wondering how he is doing. Last time she posted they were thinking of postponing the surgery because he was sick. I hope everything is ok.

Well, his open-heart was delayed due to him being sick, he had a fever and a very bad cough that wouldn't go away. At first it was postponed until May, but a March 27th day opened up. I didn't want to post anything and jinx him until it was set, but he had his pre-op appointment today, and it's a go!
Today I fed-exed 46 envelopes (many with multiple cards in them) so he will get them tomorrow, the day before is surgery. I told my mom it's up to her when they open them.
They are going to Red Lobster tomorrow to eat for his last meal (his request) and she thought they would open a few then, maybe some when they are waiting at the hospital, and the rest after. We'll see!
Thank you all so much! It means a lot to my mother too, who is a nervous wreck. I'll be waiting anxiously myself on Thursday for news, and will post when I hear anything.

Just found out that they moved the surgery to 4:30 p.m central time. So that's 5:30 for me and it's a least a 6 hour operation, it's going to be late before I hear anything.
