Isn't there a place in Downtown Disney that is a portrait studio just for having your picture taken with Mickey? That might be a fun place to propose, too.

The place at DTD is Studio M. You would have a minimal wait and total privacy. You could easily distract your fiance by having her go check out frames for the picture while your ordering the type of picture you want and filling in CM with the details. Although it wouldn't be in the parks, it would be a GREAT chance to do this. Goodluck!

The other outdoor option is to try to be the opening family and do it after the opening....We opened MK and afterwards got to have our picture taken with Mickey...though it was outside in front by the train....

They pick this family in advance usually...I bet if you asked nicely they might consider you....

I hate to be the person that brings bad news but Studio M is closing in a few days... Talk to a CM the other day...

Personally I'm thinking Toontown would be a little chaotic with the other families and kids also in there. How about a character meal - like Liberty Tree (No Mickey there I know) but they have some quiet out of the way tables. Or even the Castle and put her ring in one of those glass slippers and maybe one of the Princesses or Prince Charming if he were there could bring it over. That is just me, I wouldn't like to be out in the middle of everyone.

The hardest part will be to get a free second away from Rose (my girlfriend) to actually tell a CM what I'm looking to do.
