Worth travelling between Grand Floridian Park Fare and Magic Kingdom for dinner?

Was thinking of going to 1900 Park Fare for character dinner from Magic Kingdom, and then back to Magic Kingdom for Electric Parade and Fireworks. Is it worth the trip? And how long is the travel via Disney bus or monorail?

Absolutely doable. I do it all the time. Take the boat from MK to GF, and have dinner. Then, return to the MK on the monorail. The boat takes about 15 mins, once you're onboard....a really nice, relaxing way to go. To return the monorail will take about 5 mins once it pulls away from the GF.

a 2nd yes I love the boat ride,and I love the resort restaurants..we usually leave the park to eat anyway....better food choices

I find the food to be better outside of the park most of the time. What you suggested is definitely doable and will probably be enjoyable.
