DH and I are going on a 'babymoon' next month. He suggested that we go to Universal but has decided against it because he doesn't think I will be able to do anything. I just looked and tickets are about $67. I'm wondering how much I would really be able to do at 26 weeks pregnant.

I would not spend the money to go to UO pregnant. If you really take a good look at the ride list, there are many that pregnant women cannot go on. Even the Cat in the Hat ride spins around alot at IOA. If it were me, I would rather do a Disney park...I think they offer more shows and rides that anyone can go on. You could always visit Citywalk one night to get your "Universal fix". :goodvibes

I went to US when I was pregnant almost 16 years ago.. there wasn't much then I could do.. IOA wasn't even built.. not that they have much more for a pregnant person. I would not spend the extra money if I were you. If you had an annual pass, and were going often, sure go, walk around see some shows.. but that to spend the money for one day while you are pregnant.. it is not worth it...

I don't understand why E.T. isn't recommended for pregnant ladies...I rode it before and I think it is a lot like Peter Pan in Disney World. I don't remember any spinning or major jerking... I was so surprised when I read that! :confused3

I don't think ET is jerky. It is like Peter Pan. Maybe it's because the handlebar restraint might not pull as close as you would want with a pregnant belly.

I would wait until you could ride the all the rides you like. It would be depressing for me to go and sit on the bench while my DH rode the "good" rides. JMHO

Peter Pan you are sitting in a seat with a lap bar that comes over the entire seat. On ET your bottom is on a bike with handle bars. there is more room to slide around without support..
