Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU! to those veterans on here who advised us to stay onsite for the FOTL perk. We had such limited time in the parks that it literally saved our vacation to be able to use them. Plus being from a slightly cooler/less humid climate I could not imagine standing in those lines!!

The Hulk posted a waiting time of 45 minutes in the morning, we were in line and done with the ride in about 10 minutes!! :cool1:

Later in the day, the Simpsons was a 60 minute wait. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes. And man it was freakishly hot. I felt bad for all those people we passed by was went to the front. (Sheesh, how do people live in Florida??? :cool2: )

The FOTL perk was definitely worth the added expense of the onsite hotel (RPR) and it was actually a very nice hotel. We enjoyed it a lot.

thanks again!! :flower3:

Thanks for coming back and letting us know how your stay was.
we sometimes never hear from newbies and wonder if they had any issues with our suggestions.

you are so right when you say the FOTL is worth it.
that is one of the great draws for staying on site.

welcome to the darkside.
i do believe you are now one of the homies....

Yay!!! Now you can add in your two cents when the next newbie comes along!

So did you follow my touring plan or just start improvising once you realized that the FOTL was going to make everything you wanted to do possible? You mentioned the line in Hulk, before you left you said that the kids would be afraid to ride it. Obviously that changed :-) What were your favorites? Enquiring minds want to know.

In the summer it's a struggle sometimes but when it's December and 78 degrees...it's heaven! ;)

::yes::5months of struffling heat and the rest of the year is like spring with the occasional cold snaps!!:thumbsup2

Kind of like our weather except we stay inside. :lmao:

OP, I'm glad that you liked RPR. I thought that it was a great hotel and I fully intend to be back there one of these days. :thumbsup2

We did mostly follow it and it was very helpful. We had to deviate from it as our daughter was afraid of several rides (the visual scary parts, not necessarily motion--she's very afraid of tornados for example). So our family split up while my husband or I took her to Seuss or Woody Woodpecker. Overall we got to do everything we wanted. Thanks for your info. :)

adding our favorites: Spiderman, Hulk (yes they loved it!) and Simpsons. I really enjoyed the fire side of D.Dragons (didn't get to ice side). DD loved Cat in the Hat. And for a great view of the park I thought the Seuss Trolley in the sky was excellent.

No kidding! I'm sure I'll be eating my words in Jan...Feb...Mar... ;)
