Worst TV Shows for Families

Fox scored big with the bottom four: 'American Dad,' 'The Family Guy,' 'The War at Home' and 'The O.C.' Ironically they had one of the "Best" for family viewing as well: American Idol.

I agree that American Dad and Family Guy are not for children - but they are hilarious shows. I don't let my kids watch them, but I watch myself.

add "south park" to the list (even the cleaned up syndicated version is vile for kids). now i love "yes, dear" but it gets a bit much to explain to the kids.

Can't say I watch any of the "worst shows," though I've seen episodes here and there and I agree with them as being not family friendly.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with this group coming up with a list of shows that are inappropriate for younger viewers, but I don't understand the push by some to say these shows shouldn't be on the air at all. I think "Family Guy" is absolutely hysterical and does great parodies. And is covered in warnings that it has adult content and may not be appropriate. The other three I don't watch, because I'm just not interested in them.

I'm with you....the list actually ticked me off a bit. I don't need a list to tell me that CSI or Two and a Half Men aren't good shows for my family to sit down and watch together. They are great shows aimed at a mature, audience.

The list wouldn't have bugged me as much if it had a different title...such as 100 Shows We Feel Are Inappropriate For Family Viewing. OR make the list, but use only shows that any idiot wouldn't know aren't appropriate for children.

I love South Park. No, it's not for little ones, but this show takes no prisoners. It picks on EVERYONE equally.
