My condolences to you and your dh. We lost my FIL while in WDW last March, on my dd's birthday no less. It's very hard, but I'm so glad you guys were able to make some wonderful memories while you were there.

I lost my grandfather while we were on a trip to WDW. My family urged us to stay and enjoy ourselves the rest of the trip. I am glad we did.

I, too, am sorry for your loss.

I lost my Nana while in WDW for the marathon. She died the day after on Monday the 9th. I was in Epcot when my parents called and told me. I will never forget the spot I was in when I learned of her passing. It is right where I have always seen the Kristos perform. My parents also suggested we stay the rest of the week and we did. It worked for all of my family to wait until the weekend to do the services. I had my ments but I knew that is what Nana would have wanted me to do.
