Worst thing I ate at WDW was.......?

All at CBR Food Court...

Only had 3 meals there with one being breakfast and it was Mickey Waffles (they were good).

The other 2 were

Pepperoni Pizza for lunch-it was just watery and gross:sick:

Mojo Pork entree for dinner(DH and I split)Pork was rubbery:sick:

Salmon entree for dinner(Dh and I split)Salmon was fishy:sick:

I would stay at CBR again in a heartbeat but would not eat any meal from there other than breakfast or snacks.

I almost forgot-the carrot cake cookie from Starring Rolls...it was soggy, and waaaaayyyyy too sweet.

My top three worst experiences are....

Lobster at Narcossee's - Got Food Poisoning from this crap.

The Garden Grill Dinner - The entire dinner, everything was awful.

Fish and Chip's from Rose and Crown

The beignets at POFQ. IMO, their inferior quality is an insult to the culture and heritage of the proud city of New Orleans.

Chicken fingers at Cosmic Ray's. The breading was so hard that there were pieces I literally could not break with my hands. They seemed more like weapons than food.

Worst double bacon cheeseburger of all time from Electric Umbrella. Cold, dry burger, stale bun, cold fries...Terrible!!

I'm going to have to agree with this one. We drove through New Orleans on our way to Disney from Houston. My friend Rachel had never had a beignet, so we stopped at the Cafe du Monde = HEAVEN.
She loved it so much she ordered beignets at POFQ the next day. :rotfl:
SAD - SAD - SAD. I thought she was going to cry they were so bad.

Sorry folks - I have to pick the turkey legs.....
I had this idea of the "Thanksgiving" flavour...but to me it tasted like HAM....I don't think my taste buds were mixed up, because other things I ate that day tasted like they should have.....but if I wanted ham, I would have ordered HAM!!! (plus I tried to be as "neat" as I could, but I'm sure there was grease all over my face before I threw the other 3/4 of it out:lmao:)

We didn't care for Tusker House for lunch. Maybe the breakfast is better :confused3

Two things you'll never see me eat as I'm walking around WDW....frozen banana and turkey leg. There is just something about the way people look eating them. I think of caveman days with the turkey leg, and that is before I even smell them. I can't explain the frozen banana. I love bananas but those just don't look good to me.

As for Dole Whips, I loved them. But, I think the PP must have tried the Citrus Swirl one if it can be compared to baby aspirin since it tastes like a push up. I liked the pineapple/vanilla one.

That's what I kept thinking - cave men (in fact, that's even the caption that I put in my scrapbook with the photos of us trying to eat the ugly beast (and from the size of the leg, I often wonder how they ever caught them - ha ha). We sat at a table at the Lunching Pad - I most definately wouldn't be brave enought to even try to walk and eat one of those things....but no worries - I won't ever order another one :rotfl:

Oooh, yeah, that would be the entire meal I had for Chef Mickey's dinner. I felt like I was eating at Ryan's, except with characters.

Chicken Marinara Penne at Big River Grille was way undercooked. I appreciate al dente but I could barely get the stuff down.

The Smoked Turkey Sandwich at 50's Sci-Fi tasted okay, but the bread was so light it disintegrated into mushy pieces that I couldn't even pick up.

Pizza at the Riverside Mill Food Court was just a greasy heap of cheese with no toppings. Why are there no pizza toppings in WDW?

One of the Dole Whips at MK.....I have had some that are SOOO good but on my last day during my last trip, I got one that wasn't how it should have been. It was really yellow, instead of the off-white color it usually is, and it was more like italian ice texture than the usually creamy texture of the whips. It was so gross I couldn't eat it :( I don't know if they just gave me the wrong thing or if there was something wrong with the machine.

The burgers at The Back Lot Express GROSS!(DHS) My husband and I felt sick the rest of the day.:sick::sick:

The Lobster Bisque at the Coral Reef!!! My goodness it was just disgusting and for what they charge for that. YUCK!!!!:sad2::sad2:

I do have to say I might be different I know a lot of people slam San Angel but I have never had a bad meal there (it is a must for us every trip) and growing up in Brooklyn NY I consider myself a food snob.

My entire meal at Flame Tree BBQ. The Ribs and beans were so dry and disgusting. It was as though they had been sitting there for a week just waiting for me. Not to mention the seating area right by the water was awful with all the birds milling about. Some jerk actually threw food right past me for the birds to chase and eat. I jumped out of my chair and high-tailed it out of there.

It was one of the worst and most disgusting dining experiences I have ever had in my life!

The rest of my trip was AWESOME!! :thumbsup2

I've had a few things I wouldn't choose to eat again.....burger at the food court at POFQ.....way too greasy. I guess I wouldn't go back to Boatwrights either....could have been a bad night.....but it was not good food.

Nothing compares to the absolutely awful food that we had back in the 80's at MK and Epcot. We had burgers that were inedible. My dad would say that WDW must have bought McD's week old stuff....reheated and served. The only decent food in those days was a walk up place near the Japan area. We were pleasantly suprised to find better food in the 90's and 2000's.
