Worst Restaurants

Cosmic Ray's for me. My husband and I had the most disgusting burgers on the planet there. They were gray in color and tasteless and also the place was a mess. :crazy2:

One place sticks out in my mind. Tomorrow Land Terrace Noodle Station. YUCK!

First time we went to Tony's the food was very bland, just plain not good. We gave it another try on another trip (why??? I ask myself) and the food was consistently bad haha - serves me right!!

Sci-Fi is not the greatest on food but if you stick to the overpriced burgers, fries, and milkshakes you'll be okay. You are really going there for eating in the cars / drive-in atmosphere more than the cafeteria food. It is fun (regardless of food quality) and we'll go again!

San Angel Inn is one of my husband's favorites, a must-do every trip. You will get tons of different opinions on lots of restaurants.

Have fun eating your way around the World!

Tomorrowland Terrance Noodle Station and
Biergarten

I am not fond of any of the burger/hotdog/chicken finger CS restaurants. I'm just a snob that way ;) (I do like caseys though)

I can honestly say that I have never had bad food anywhere. I guess bad enough that I can't eat it. I will say that as for service, San Angel Inn has always been really slow. And I know that I am definately in the minority by saying this...I have been to Tony's 3 times and have always had great food and great service. I don't go there for spaghetti (that's easy to make at home) I have had their NY Strip twice and this Eggplant something(can't remember full name) always great. Melt in your mouth steak and very tasty eggplant dish. That's the one nice thing about writing on here, you can give your opinion and hope people don't bash you for it. JMO!!!! :flower3: pixiedust:

***Big River Grille at BW (bad food AND bad service)
***Crystal Palace: Great service & character interaction..food is so-so.

Concourse Steakhouse, terrible food and an even worse waiter.

We ate a alot of the steakhouses on Disney and had the same cut of meat at each. At the Concourse it was not cooked right even after sending it back once (wanted well it was still rare) and the meat tasted bad (all 3 of us agreed) the mashed potatoes were bland. It was NOT up to the same level as the other resturants there or anywhere I have been. :rolleyes1

The waiter is a book in itself. Short story....Terrible service. I talked to the manager 2 times and she was very nice but it just was so bad nothing could have fixed the night.

To top things off it was DH's birthday and his cupcake suprise was ruined.

This was the only bad spot of the whole week.

We have eaten at all of the restaurants numerous times and on any given day you can get a bad meal at any of them. DH loves the food at Cali Grill. I don't. I am not a lover of sauces on my food. We used to love TOny's. The bread was the best part of the meal. In recent years, the food has gone downhill. It is overpriced, and they will not give you the bread at lunch - just some aweful "breadsticks". The salad was good, not anymore.

Worst meals consistently have been at Italy in EPCOT. I should have gotten the alfredo, and didn't. So I may give that one more try. Bread is excellent however. We loved our meal at Artist Point, but the last two times, it was HORRIBLE. There were bread cubes soaked in a vinegar based sauce under the salmon and it was rancid tasting.

I actually enjoy the lunch at Crystal Palace very much. Yes, parents do allow kids to poke around and shouldn't. But imagine what goes on behind the scenes in restaurants that we don't know about.

My favorites are Japan in EPCOT, although they have cut back on portions, Narcoose's, Beaches and Cream, Crystal Palace, and any food court for breakfast. The steakhouse at the Yacht Club is good, but the service can be very slow.

The only way we got to all of these restaurants was throught the meal plan.

Tappanyaki - The food wasn't worth half the price we paid. To make matters worse, you have to pay for your soup and salad, that is included at every other Japanese Steakhouse I've ever been to, and the chef wasn't the least bit entertaining. Thank God for Saki.

The Spirirt of Aloha Dinner Show (IMHO)

food: :crazy2:

service: :crazy2:

show: :crazy2: (except for the last ten minutes which was pretty cool)

Princess Storybook Dinner at Akershus.....DISGUSTING FOOD!!!!!!

DSis and I have not been back to CRT after a particularly horrible lunch experience in the 80s.

More recently, the worst food I ate last trip was at Columbia Harbour House...I love fish, but this was completely unidentifiable.

Raglan Road was disappointing...I am not in a rush to return.

Coral Reef...I would go back because the atmosphere is great, service was terrific, and the entree DSis had was wonderful. Mine was terrible though. Don't order the trout.

There are probably other bad experiences, but I am repressing them.

I can't believe that Alfredo's hasn't been mentioned yet. This has to be the worst meal I've ever had. The food is mediocre and the wait staff treats you like a second class citizen if you don't order alcohol.

Definitely San Angel Inn. The atmosphere enticed us but the food was horrible. We could have ate better mexican food here in Texas for a price waaaay less!

Concourse Steakhouse

Mama Melrose (the italian place at MGM)

Tonys is very mediocre...but we love the dipping sauce and watching Spectromagic

Funny -- I think you'll find somebody that loves every restaurant at Disney and others that hate the same place. We love O'hana, Tony's, Nine Dragons (DH's favorite), San Angel Inn and Mama Melrose. Many people give these places terrible reviews.

We had a VERY bad experience at the Crystal Palace and won't return there -- though the food, service and character interaction were all great. As a matter of fact, we avoid most buffets at Disney. While I love Alfredo's, my friend and I both got a mild case of food poisening there in early December -- we both think it was the Tiramisu, though it was fantastic going down! I'm not fond of Sci-Fi, but mainly it's because of the atmosphere -- I wish they'd show episodes of shows or something like that, instead of the clips -- the food was pretty good though.

Honestly though, I can't think of a restaurant where we haven't enjoyed the food at Disney. Any bad experiences were with service or "extenuating circumstances."
