Which DVC Resort has the worst front desk staff (given you the worst service) ? Not necessarily terrible service but the worst of the four.

UPDATE: For the "did not vote" group.

Beach Club 22
Boardwalk 19
Old Key West 6
Wilderness Lodge 10

Total votes - 56 (11/25/03 5:50pm)

Remember, the question was worst of the four listed. They could all have good service but some could have "better" service than the others. Which one was not as "perfect" as the other three?

I did not vote because I don't have any negative front desk experiences to report! We have always had GREAT service every trip with DVC! I only have OKW to compare, but we have always had great service.

We have not had any negative experiences with the front desk at any of the resorts.
We have stayed at VWL, BWV and BCV.

ralphd:D :D :D

As others have replied, we've not had bad service either. We've stayed at all of the resorts listed, except BWV. Everyone has been pleasant and helpful!

I don't understand what can be accomplished with this poll other than to possibly alienate some Cast Members.

Count me in with the group that has always had wonderful service from not only all DVC resorts but from ALL WDW resorts I have ever stayed in, and that is almost every WDW resort there is! Nope, no compliants here regarding the front desk staff at any WDW resort.

My experiences with the front desk have all been positive. I agree, what is the point of this poll?

Other than the occasional long check in line I've never had a problem with service once at the counter.

Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa!

When DW and I were there in October, we waited around the Check-In area for over an hour and didn't see one person!

Maybe to bring attention that things are not always magical in the Kingdom.

We just got back from the BC last week and had a great trip except for the staff at the Beach Club. Here is what happened.

1. Failed to get our key cards on check-in. (we should have noticed)

2. Had a choice of several rooms. We picked the one that was described as a corner room. It was except the CM failed to mentioned it was next to the elevator. If we knew we would have taken the other room

3. When trying to buy something at MGM discovered our card was deactivated. Took the CM at the store 15 minute to short that out and was advised to tell us to go to the front desk to get new cards on order to get into the room. Checked to see if we could get into the room on the old card. We could. Those cards where deactivated a day early.

4. We where able to get extra days added while there and where told that we would get new cards on the first day of the extention. they would be slipped under the door. They where at 7:30 am, and at 9:00am a knock at the door produced more new cards.

5. On the day of check-out got an itemized bill only for the last three days of our stay. I had to go get the other part of the stay and on top of date couldn't find a record of one of the days.

6. In the mean time we are both loading the car. On one of the trips I go back to get the bill and the wife goes to the room. When I get back, I can't get into the room. Yep, they deactivated the cards again. AT 10:40 AM. TWENTY MINUTES EARLY. One of us had to stay in the room while the other finished loading the car. We got an unwanted late check-out.

I'm still waiting for an explaintion from DVC.

I think I'm alienated.

One or two of these things happening, I would have said "oh well a mistake can happen". This is beyond several!!

I usually have no problems either, except 1 time at BWV when we were given anoccupied room 3 times in 1 night.
That wasnt really the fault of the CM it was more like a computer glitch.
I have had one bad experience at VB with a run-in with the wicked one. She was just palin NASTY!!!

I've had a confusing check in (my fault not CM) at VWL. They handled it pretty well. No complaints here.

Didn't vote either. Stayed at OKW, BWV, VWL, and BCV - all problem free with the front desk CMs and service.

No complaints but extra praise for the front desk CMs at the BWV. They went the extra mile for my girls - offering to get balloons for them from the back room on more than one occasion. Do you know how much little kids LOVE balloons?!!!!

The Bell Service staff were great with the balloon animals too. Little things like that are what you remember about a trip and really helps to make it magical.

LOL! I hope THAT improves!!!:jester:

Couldn't vote. Have had good service on all our trips to DVC resorts. So far, we've stayed at VB (cash only, though) and BWV (points only so far).

manning - Sorry you ran into so many problems. Your next stay is sure to be better!

Sorry, another unable to vote (maybe a category for "never had a problem" would have helped?).

Stayed at BWV and VWL so far....nothing but helpful, smiling faces.

DrTomorrow....if you think that was a long wait, we sat for several hours on the site of Eagle Pines! :p

I vote for adding a no problems category. There are a lot of people here who won't see the results of the poll because we have had good experiences.:D

Now add in some no DVC resorts and thats another question.
