We usually get 2 rooms at the Pop but we go in Aug. This year we have to move up to July 12-19. I'm worried about so many tour groups being at the Pop. Should we get on room at POR? It would be 3 adults, 1 14yr, and 1-11yr. The 11 year old is small. We have never stayed at POR? We are not usually in the room much. Either at the parks or pool. It does have a slide at the main pool. I'm just don't know what to do:headache:

Any ideas would be a great help. Thanks!!

stick with Pop and 2 rooms.

the only problem I have with Pop is during breakfast. that is easily fixed just go to the MK immediately - after an hour go over and have breakfast at any of the monrail resorts.

don't even try to eat breakfast at the food court until after 9:30am.

I'm going to say stick with the 2 rooms.
We stayed at POR in August w/ 5 in a room (2 adults, 3 children 11,8,4) and although we had a blast and enjoyed the resort, we felt kind of cramped and decided we would not stay there again in one room.

We stayed at Pop this past July (July 24 - Aug. 1). Although we saw tons of tour groups at the parks we didn't see any at Pop Century when we were there.

We've stayed at Pop Century several times in July, and we've never had a problem with tour groups. Go with the two rooms - have a great trip!!!!

2 rooms= 2 bathrooms...with 3 adults and the ages of the kids this to me would be the deciding factor! The rooms at the mods are not much bigger than a value and the beds are the same size also.

I would stick with the two rooms at Pop. You will be very cramped at POR with 3 adults in one room.

POR works with 2 adults and three young children (all under 10), but not so much the other way around (3 adults, 2 children). Plus your children are a little older.

Remember you would have (2) double beds and the trundle bed (which is meant for a younger child). 2 adults in the doubles is cramped. So I think the only way it would work is with 1 adult and 1 child per double bed and 1 adult on the trundle bed. Which still sounds very cramped!

Stick with Pop!

I've actually tried to book a group at POP and was told that they do not book blocks of rooms at that resort.

We were initially offered All Stars and CBR. Once we tried to book POP they then added POR.........

So I would stay with POP and more space.
