I warned you!

Is the weight you lose expelled from your body during #1 and #2, or is it expended as energy with no byproduct? I've always been curious about that.

that ideally your body burns the fat for energy - but after my experience with malitol (artificial sweetner) last week I think the "Whoosh" fairy is named appropriately!! I think your weight fluctuates according to how much fluid you are retaining at that moment (salt intake, how much water you've been drinking, TOM, etc) this is why I try not to get hung up on one ideal number, our bodies are active machines and need a little margin of adjustment :)

but i also believe that drinking water helps to "flush" out your body. Your body will actually retain water if you dont' drink enough b/c it thinks it needs to hold onto that water to avoid dehydration!

just MHO though ;)

Oh, Jen!!!!

LOL!!!!! I love this question! Every time I visit the bathroom, I imagine coming out 5 pounds lighter. I will not even THINK of stepping on the scale unless I've very recently, er, "gone"!

Intellectually, I know that the, um, "product" can't weigh enough to make a difference. But I really like to imagine that we can "Flush Away The Pounds!"

(Do you think we could get rich marketing a "Flush Away the Pounds" video? What would Leslie Sansone think of that?):teeth:

BWhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa!!!
