World of Disney store in NYC is GREAT!!

It was gorgeous here in NJ this weekend so on Saturday we decided to drive into Manhattan and see the sites! We went to the World of Disney store and the kids had a blast!!! It is such a great store! They sell all the same things that you see in the parks!!!! We had a little bit of Disney before our big trip in the fall!!!!

We also went to FAO Schwartz (we played on the Piano from BIG!) and went to Central Park - what a great day!

My BF and I brought my DD16 to NYC in January for a show and we decided to surprise her with a trip to WDW(unknown to her, but planned for July). The staff was great with helping us out. They made a huge circle around her, told her that her dreams were about to come true, and announced it to the whole store with a lot of hoopla. Everyone was clapping and shouting, they even gave her a special pin and a certificate for her special day. It's nice to see that the MAGIC continues outside the parks and into the stores.

I had such a blast there last summer. Love the fact you can have character pictures done with no wait

I think we need a trip there soon. I haven't been since last year.

I stopped there quickly in March when I was in NYC and it is a beautiful store! It was St Patrick's Day and they had the CUTEST St Pattys Merch, very similar to what I saw at WDW the year before!

im in jersey also..10 min from that store and ive never been. you need to check out the disney outlet in woodbury commons. we bought all our souvenirs there first and then surprised the girls with them at the parks. i bought 99 cent water bottles and disney towels for $4..
