World of Disney opening in Manhattan

Is this store going to be in the same location as the Disney Store was at?

Another post also said the triple points would be available for worldofdisney.com but once again, I didn't get the points offer. Never once have I gotten a bonus point offer when it seems everyone else in the world got a special offer.

I don't think it's the same location as the Times Square store. This said 5th Avenue.

This is the store on the Northeast corner of Fifth Avenue and 55th Street. It is being reopened as "World of Disney", similar to the stores in Downtown Disney (both DLR & WDW).

Technically "The Disney Store" corporation (a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company) sold this store, as well as the one at the Burbank Studio, to the "Disney Parks and Resorts" corporation (a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company). Therefore, these two renamed stores were not in the giant sell-off.

I was referring to the 5th Avenue old Disney Store, not Times Square. I'll be sure to check it out next time we are in the city
