World of Color - Letdown?

WOC was good, not great. A lot of viewing issues. But, I saw it when it had the TRON encore. The TRON portion was better then the entire WOC show, to me. To each, their own.

Since, TRON is no longer in the show, I don't feel the need to see it again.

WHAT? I didn't know that TRON was removed. We saw its' premiere last year. TOTALLY AWESOME. What a bummer that it's gone.

No here is a great point. The only part I disagree with is, I think I would rather go get teeth pulled tan see that insult to Fantasmic at WDW.

Wait a sec, we purposely didn't see F! because we've seen it at WDW. Didn't realize it sucked so badly there. We will be sure to go when we return at Halloween!

TRON left and pirates moved in. As One movie promotion ended and another started.

It really wasn't worded that strongly if you read back. The person they quoted simply said they like F! at DL more. I can agree with that too. Glad you are planning to take it in.

Oh no they read correctly. Fantasmic at WDW sucks big time. Hence why I'd rather have teeth pulled than ever see that again.

The DH and I saw the show on Labor Day. We stood at the railing near the fire hydrant and thought it was a great view. While the show was impressive, we couldn't help but feel like we watched a really long Disney movie clip show. I don't need to see it again. I <3 Fantasmic and Fireworks!

I think Disneyland's Fantasmic is way > than the one in FL, but I still love that one as well.

I think these are just trolling comments. Far different than the fun debate you wanted.

As true as that maybe, they hit the head correct with my comment. I really do think the WDW version does suck. Now back to the topic at hand.

Seems like a mixed reaction. We have only been to disneyland a 3 times over the past 4 years. For those that are annual pass holders and go all the time, there seems to perhaps be a different level of appreciation for different elements.

That said, we were just in Disneyland for 7 days and saw F! 3 times. We saw WOC once and were bored, to be quite frank. F! was better each time we saw it. It left us with that same sort of awe struck feeling you get at the end of Soarin, the first few times your ride it. I can see that if you get to the point where you see it many many times, you might get bored of it.

I guess I just wanted to make sure I was not in the vast MINority on WOC - that there was not some grand element of the show I was missing.

I mean seriously, did no one from Disney stand in that area and realize that you can not see anything unless you are right on the center railing?

I have to agree with this sentiment. My family loves this show, but we are AP holders and have the time to wait 90+ minutes for a prime spot. I’m not sure I would be willing to do that on a vacation with limited time, and from all reports, if you are not in a prime spot, then the show is a waste of time.

I too have to wonder why Disney didn’t do a better job with the viewing area.

Oh – I would also like them to remove the scene where Simba cuddles up to his dead father. It’s so very sad and just puts me into a downer that I could do without.

Agreed..I really hate that part in there
