Hi i really need help guys! I have been trying to scour all the messageboards to get all the tips and info i need. But i can't seem to find any info on if we should do a dinnner at the WineCountry restaurant for the World of Color show one night??? Can you see the show from other view points or should we get fast passes?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I also have another question I am going to try and take lots of breaks and not use a wheelchair... i am fixing to have another back surgery for 2 ruptured discs and nerve damage.... I used one in March when we went to Disney World and I would be soooo frustrated by the mean, rude people by the end of the day that my nerves would be shot!! So if I have to get one would that affect where we would have to sit?
Any help would be so appreciated!

Really do the dinners for the dinner. You will probably eat something somewhere. The WoC dinner package does get you ticket to the preferred viewing area, but it may not save time or get you a better view.

In any case you need a ticket to get into the Paradise Park Viewing area. In a chair you will be directed to the HCA area which have a bench if you get a GAC you can get into these areas too. However these areas get crowded and the benches are reserved for the people who need them, if you have chair of ECV you may need to sit on it.

Is the GAC like the passes at Disney World ? you go in and let them know you are unable to stand for long periods of time?
Have you eaten at that restaurant? Is it good?

FYI, just having an ECV will not get you into this section. My son did not realize this when he picked up our passes on Weds. We had an ECV (I have a herniated disc in my back, it is quite painful to stand for extended periods of time) and when we went to get in line, we didn't have the special FP to allow us into this section (which BTW, was fairly empty during the 1015 show that night). So, I had to stand w/my cane. We'll know better in case I'm still in pain our next trip.

The first year we did WOC, we did the dining package and it was worth it to us. That was back when it first opened. We did the earliest dinner, lingered in the area before the line was formed, hopped right into line and bought pillow pets to sit on as we waited over an hour for the show to start. But hey, we had front row at the rail of the green section and my kids had no issues seeing the show. Now, Weds. we had blue, got in line after the line was being walked in, stood in the middle one section down from the seating area for HCA folks, and my kids still got the railing and had no real issues seeing the show. Those that arrived right at show time though, were complaining loudly to CMs that they couldn't see as everyone was standing.

I can't answer your ? regarding GAC, we have never gotten one. I do know they are given out at City Hall in DL, and I believe there are different levels depending on what your need is. With my back, I just got my own ECV and we used FP and I dealt with the shorter lines ok. The show hurt, since it was about 12 min wait before and then the entire show, but I survived, but then, I'm luckier than some I'm sure.

We have eaten at Wine Country twice and enjoyed both meals a lot. We are not "foodie" people though, we have simple tastes. I had the lasanga and it was quite good.

Yes, go into Guests Services in either park and tell them your needs and they fill out the card appropiately. Because of your situation I would do this at the beginning of your visit.

We aren't foodie's either... all that fancy food isn't really our taste either :)
Thanks for all the info guys i really appreciate it!

I will go in Guest Service first thing!
Silence that is ridiculous that considering your circumstance and that it was empty that you weren't allowed to stay there! I guess it just depends on the CM's if they are having good days or not. Sometimes they go above and beyond and other times they could care less :confused3
I was in an ECV for our trip in March to WDW and all of the rides went so well until the Winnie the Pooh ride the CM made me go through the regular line with everyone else... talk about hard to maneuver that thing through a line full of people!! All the other rides they let me right through the CM was just rude! I can't stand up for long periods of time my leg just goes out.
Anyway Thanks so much for all the tips!! :goodvibes
