Good morning Lean Ladies! It's Friday. I am sick! I had a brief respite from it yesterday, except the cough, but I wake up this morning with full blown cold symptoms, sore throat, cough, terrible headache....NOT the way to start this soon-to-be snowy weekend......
Yesterday, I didn't feel great, but good enough to get my LR in.....I am glad it got done yesterday, because I couldn't do it today!
Jackie: I definitely recommend the Wii fit.....we love ours! And, surprizingly, it really does work you out! I couldn't stop the obsticle course until I 'won' and I was sweaty and out of breathe by the time I was done! The only part I don't like is when my little Mii blows up with my weight! I hate that!
Jeanne: How did the Wii workout go? I hope you like it! I still think it's better to be alone while figuring it out....very embarressing to have to have a 11 and 13 year old helping old mom out, and laughing at me!
Debra: Are you ready for snow??? I am not.....I am sick of winter in PA!
Was the other gym any cheaper/ or better amentities? I am interested in knowing!
Cindy: Did the doctor give you any ideas in what the stomach issues could be? I am sorry it has lead to weight gain.....but, you shouldn't worry about that now.....get the problem resolved and you will be back at it in no time!
Mandac: So, where is your 1/2 coming up? I hope that it goes well.....it's a hard time of year to train, I know! I have one coming up in March!
AFM: So, we'll see what gets done today.....I would like to get a few miles in, and of course the standing date with P90X! I will let you know how it goes1

Beth

and I am going back to bed.
Oh wait, erace that hug...don't want to spread this, just in case!!! It's a sore throat, sinus thing! see ya!
I think I'm going to say since I started Feb. 2nd, I saw my shadow and realized I had to get moving!

Are you going to do your LR tomorrow?
Often I'll go to a friend's house and all they have are sweets and chips
Have a fun shopping trip!
and
hope you feel better soon!
I'm with Beth - I don't understand how we're supposed to work out, avoid fast food, eat healthy, and still do things like housework. Oh yeah, and get 8 hours of sleep each night. There just aren't enough hours in the day. And I think it's too much "What Not to Wear," by the way. Clinton and Stacy would never let you go to Target in workout clothes. Me, well, I haven't taken a shower since my run this morning. I did put on a sweatshirt and jeans to go get lunch with DD and DH, but that was all!
I know it's been there a really long time, and it doesn't matter what I do, it stays.
And so can I!

I hear you about the weekends -- I definitely fall off track. We cook during the week and eat out Friday and Saturday. I try to make choices that are a little better each weekend, but I have a long way to go. So far I'm managing to skip fries with sandwiches, and try to get chicken with a marinara sauce instead of a cream sauce or meatballs. My big accomplishment yesterday was to not order mozzarella sticks with my hot fingers -- see what I mean about a long way to go? I know these are not good choices. Friday hits and I have been working since Sunday night to do the right thing, and I seem to lose my will to eat right. I'm just tired, and most of the time dh wants to eat at places where healthy means you can get an iceburg lettuce side salad with one cherry tomato and a carrot curl...

Sneaky. Thanks for the tip on the sourdough bread - I didn't know it wasn't made with sugar.
