Working on Weight Loss and getting Lean!

Maria: Intervels don't need to be 'planned'. I used to increase the speed during a commerical while watching TV! Intervels just means that you are going faster for a 'intervel' than going slower for another. The speed is whatever you want it to be. Believe it or not, you burn more calories that way (more than when you go the same speed for the whole run). I think that speed work once a week could help you a long way for weight loss/and getting faster. My TM does intervels......the slower pace for me is 5.0 mph, and the faster pace is 6.2 mph. You will just have to adjust the speed yourself, which is no big deal.....you just have to pay attention to your time.

I also do pace runs....... I will do a slow first mile, then I will speed up to the time I want to run in the race for 3 miles, then a slower last mile.

Tempo runs will be runs for shorter distances at a FASTER pace then you want to run in your race. I don't run more than 5 miles at a tempo pace....usually it's 3 miles. It's much harder run than the others.

All this jazzes up your running.....it's good not to have the same pace for every training run. Some faster, some slower.....it's all good for weight loss too!

Yes, a 3 mile run is FINE! I feel the same sometimes.....only 3? But, if that 3 is faster than normal.....it's called 'speed work'!!!!! AND a good calorie burn!

All these terms for different runs can be really confusing. I am just getting to know what they all mean.......just know that what you are doing is never WRONG. I used to speed up during commericals and never knew that would be speed work!

You do WAY more hill work than I do (bless your heart! I hate it). But it is great for you! You might be able to back down to once a week for hill work. Replace one of your incline walking to intervels!

I have a great recipe for an Italian Lentil soup.....that you mix with a little brown rice. I had it for lunch today.....and it is a great way to stay feeling full! There is no meat in it.....all veggies! I thought of you.....probably really low in points....and you don't really need the rice. The lentils absorb alot of liquid when eating leftover....it's pretty thick on it's own!

I hope this rambling message is helpful!

Beth

Why, oh why, do my coworkers not understand? :sad2: Someone left a plate of brownies in the kitchen, and then a customer :confused3 brought a plate of cupcakes to thank our service guys for working on her door last week. Of course they wanted to share with all of us, so they left them in the kitchen as well.

And the scale was lower this morning than it's been in 5 weeks. I MUST HAVE WILL POWER! Help... help...

Jackie

Jackie: Don't ya hate that? I have a serious problem with sweets.....I would have a hard time saying no......just keep thinking about the scale, and how well it treated you today. You can pay it back by not eating the treats! Put it out of your mind, and think about the 1/2 next weekend!

Beth

I am slowly (very slowly) getting back into the swing of things. I have probably gained 5 pounds since my half marathon, because I suddenly became a couch potato! I don’t know how it happened, but I am fighting back. I did get on the treadmill last night. And it was hard to do! The weather is much nicer here than it has been in quite a while, but it always seems to be raining or really close to it by the time I get home from work. That puts a damper on my plans to go and enjoy the sunshine. But I decided I was going to exercise tomorrow – No Matter What!

My husband went to a meeting, and I got on the treadmill. I am trying out a new pair of shoes. I think they are a little too snug, so I will have to exchange them. But I am so excited to have new shoes! Crazy, but true.

Here I am!

I did half an hour at 12 min miles yesterday after work, and it felt awkward at first, but then better. I planned to get up this morning, and walk, but of course that didn't happen. I need for the rain to stop (I think it has!), much easier to get up that way. Anyway, I committed to doing my first interval training today after work! This is going to be really interesting, I'm glad no one will be watching. I think for ease of switching as I learn what I'm doing, I'll alternate between 4.5 and 5.0. Is 2 minutes the optimal time, or could I alternate when my songs change on the ipod (usually about 4 min?). It would just be easier for me to do it that way -- but I want to do whatever seems most likely to be beneficial -- I clearly haven't been doing this right for a very long time. :scared1: I got on the scale last night just to check, and it was not pretty -- but I do think a few days of eating right and exercise will have me back where I was by the end of the month, with a little pixiedust:

My boss provided lunch today and I had a burger and fries. Big mistake. My stomach does not know what to do with that much food, and I can't tell you the last time I ate french fries... And why is this making me so gassy? :confused3 At least I had a 2 pt breakfast, and I'll also have a very contained dinner. Right now, I feel like I don't want to eat again until tomorrow...

Manda -- New shoes are not a little thing to me! I love them! I love how they cushion, the spring, it's like Steve Martin running down the street, yelling "The new phonebooks are here!". We may be the only ones, but new shoes are a cause for celebration! :yay: And I am so glad you got back on the TM. We will get back into this together!

Jackie -- That's an awful lot of treats to ignore, I feel your pain...it's ironic that people try to do something nice by providing food, but it just chips away at our sanity

Beth -- I would love your recipe for Italian Lentil Soup, that sounds yummy! And thank you for sharing all the terms and types, and most of all, that I can't do it wrong -- because you know I do worry about that -- I'm one of those scary people who likes to "do it right". :headache: I'm just going to post what I do, and try to figure out what it is each day. I think I was doing the progressive runs for awhile -- I used to start my LR at 4.5, then change the speed for each song change, until I got to 5.2, then I'd go back down, then up again to get my 6M. But I decided I wasn't doing enough so I should do the entire thing at 5.3, and that's when my body started pitching a hissy fit. And how are you feeling? Less hungry? Less pain? I'm really hoping so! :goodvibes

Ok, back to the grindstone. I have to try to move a little to see if my stomach will feel better. I'm going to take a writing break and work on my shelves and paper piles. It's pretty scary in my office... :maleficen

Maria :upsidedow

Maria: I, too, am one who wants to do it 'right', or not at all! I, in my old age, and coming to terms of just doing it and letting the 'right' out of the equation. I would either do it right, or not at all......and that doesn't seem to work out. So, just do it and try something a little different.....without the fear of doing it 'wrong'!

The 'gassy' feeling is from to many CARBS! My system doesn't like carbs to much.....reaks havoc on my system. If you are not used to fries.....they are going to 'do you wrong'! Been there....have the T-shirt!

I wish you good luck on the interval training tonight.....you'll do fine!

Jackie: How is it going? Withstood the treat situation?

AFM: I feel much better the last few days. Less aches, and pains. My runs have been on the slower side, but I feel good doing them.

I am eating well the last 3 days.....it sure is hard though! The Itailian lentil soup is helping tremendously! It's really filling me up for lunch, and helps the afternoon craving to eat!

I have not had a diet Coke for 3 days.....count them.....3 days! I figured that it just can't be good for me. I love it, but it doesn't love me! My goal right now is a month....until my next 1/2 marathon. It does seem to lessen the sweet cravings some.....at least that is what I am telling myself! :rolleyes1

I will try to find the recipe for the Lentil soup....

Beth

This is not exactlly the recipe I used...but it is very close. The one I made used vegetable broth instead of the boullion below. The recipe I used has me putting in some cooked brown rice before serving.....which you don't need....soup is thick enough.

***you can add oregano to make it more "Italian" tasting! ((and I think some basil)))

Jackie: How is it going? Withstood the treat situation?

I am happy to report that with only an hour to go in the workday, I haven't been near either plate. I've kept a cup of water on my desk and sipped at that nonstop instead of snacking (been to the bathroom more times than I can count!) :lmao: I'd packed a cup of Chocolate Underground yogurt for my afternoon snack, so I just ate that, so I imagine I can get to 4:00 without even looking at the brownies again.

Thanks for keeping me honest today!

Maria - Good luck on the intervals tonight! I hadn't been on the treadmill in weeks, but it was really windy here last night, so I did 4 miles. Started really slow since I was still sore from Sunday's race - did my first mile at 4.4, then started bumping it up with each song until I was at 5.3. Did the final minute at 6.0, then walked for a few minutes at 3.6 to cool down. Felt like a really good workout when I was done.

Beth - They do say that the diet drinks only make you want sweets more. Fortunately (I guess? :confused3) I've never developed a taste for them, and I'd rather have water. I knew early on that there was a family history of kidney problems, so I learned to drink water with meals simply as a way to get more water in my system. It's made it much easier now to increase my water intake, and to prevent drinking the other stuff!

Enjoy the rest of the day!

Jackie

Hey Ladies.

I had my first disappointment today running. I was supposed to run 5 miles today and had to quit after 1 1/2 due to my ankle hurting. It felt like it needed to pop or something. It was fine within a few minutes of stopping, so I"ll go to Zumba tonight, but I wish I would have been able to run longer.

Jackie: Good job staying away from the treats! :thumbsup2 It is so hard to avoid temptation when it's just thrown in your face like that. You must be doing well to be down on the scale.

Beth: Great job on the diet Coke! I know how addictive those things are! :) I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better and less achy. And, good job on eating well. I'll have to try out the recipe sometime. I have so much food in my fridge now that I think I'm good for about 2 weeks!

Maria: I hope your stomach is doing better. I get like that whenever I eat too much, which is almost every night!:lmao: How did the intervals go? I don't know what the rule of thumb is on time when training for a race. Back when I used to run just for fitness, I did HIIT (high intensity interval training). I would jog for a minute and then run really fast for 30 seconds. I kept repeating that for 10-20 minutes in the middle of my run. It's supposed to burn a super high amount of calories, because it triggers the body to burn more throughout the day. But, when you're running for a long time, I don't know if it works.

Manda: I'm glad to hear you're trying to get back on track. One day at a time!:lovestruc

I haven't been eating very good, but I'm making it until about 6 each night before I lose it. So, that's only a few hours of bad eating vs. the whole day. I just got back from the store and I bought only healthy, fresh food. So, that's all I can eat! :)

Tandy

Good morning lean ladies! Just popping in for a quick hello! I only have time for a quick fly-by today :(

Tandy - Hope your ankle is feeling better! I get that sensation too sometimes on the back of my heel/ankle. Kind of feels like you need to crack your knuckle or something like that? WTG on the grocery shopping! I once read that in order to buy the healthy stuff, you need to stick to the perimeter of the store and not go into the isles.

Beth - Someone from our WISH team was at the DC race last weekend too. I think she had a rough time of it. She mentioned heat sickness and having to go to the med tent twice. Sorry to hear you didn't PR - I'm sure the heat and hills had something to do with it. Do you think you'll try MCM one day? Congrats on the 3 days without diet Coke! I know how tough that one can be.

Jackie - Congrats on the 2:29 race and for reaching your goal so early in the year!! That's fantastic! What's your next goal for the 1/2 distance? Yikes on the office treats! We must work in the same building :rotfl: I always prefer when people bring in store bought stuff because I can pretend that I don't like cookies from this store or donuts from that store. Home made stuff is different - hard to tell someone their baking is bad :) Did you end up resisting the treats?

Cindy - I didn't know you were doing a half last weekend! Congrats on your PR! I am hoping to work up to your level of speediness - one day anyway :) Was the race part of your training for Boston? Any news on all the testing that's been done so far?

Maria - Is the weekly routine you posted above just for running? I wanted to make sure you had some kind of a weight routine added in there. The weights will help you to build muscles that will help with the weight loss even when you're not exercising. Sounds like your body has adapted to a clean eating diet - Sometimes when I have a craving for McDonald's, I get a similar feeling afterward and have to remind myself not to eat it the next time.

Manda - Sorry to hear about the weight gain :( On the one hand, at least you gave your body a chance to recouperate after the 1/2. So I don't think it's totally a bad thing. Good for you for getting back on the TM - keep it up and the 5 pounds will be gone in no time. Are the new shoes runners or heels?

Kim - I remember prom dress shopping (even though it was ages ago). Lots of fun although it was hard sticking to a budget because I wanted everything!! Did DD end up picking out a dress or is she still deciding?

AFM - Some of my personal problems with DF continue. *sigh* I'm just trying to ignore them (for the time being) and focus for Sunday. Hooray for taper week! Well sort of ... I just have to be a little more careful with what I'm eating. The race is on Sunday so I've been going a little easier at the gym as well - no deadlifting, just lighter weight exercises and some metabolic exercises.

Went shopping this week because the weather is/was warming up - well it was really warm last week. Maybe this is the reverse of buying the winter coat thing :rotfl: Got some great dresses, skirts, sleeveless tops and heels. All the things I would never have worn a couple of years ago when I was heavier.

Well, I'd better get back to it! Hope everyone is having a great week!

Good morning Lean Ladies! What a week! It's flying by, isn't it?

Vicky: Sorry to hear that you are having 'issue' with DF. Every relationship ebs and flows, but it doesn't make it easier to live through it. I have been there.....problems with DH caused me some issues a few years back. Things do get better, but there is some work to do to make it better.....never easy! So, is it the 30K this weekend? Taper week drives me crazy! I am glad it seems a little easier for you! Not that your workout looks 'easy' by any stretch of the imagination! You are the workout QUEEN! And, nice that there is some nice, new clothes in your closet! You deserve it, after all the work you have done! :cool1: :thumbsup2

Maria: How did the intervals go? I hope that they were successful! Are you tracking your points?????? :confused3 (((((just a little reminder!)))))

AFM: Well, I am back at it.....4 days off diet Coke, and 4 days eating WAY better than I was! I feel better today.......not that it's weight loss, but more energy, and no aches and pains on the TM this morning! It changes how you feel when you are eating right.....I just need to rememeber that, when I want to eat crappy food! :rolleyes1

I have done 5 miles a day this week.....hoping to do a long run on Saturday....but now they are calling for rain all weekend.....drat! :headache: I'll have to see what to do with that......I can't seem to think that the TM is meant to be this weekend! :scared1: I was going 13 or 14......ugh! Can't face the TM for another super long run again!

I want to maintain good eating for the next few months to lose this weight before my marathon in June. Twenty pounds would be the ultimate! But, more realistically, hoping for at least 15 pounds! We'll see......I will have to develop my will-power.....marathon training and losing weight, don't usually go hand in hand for me!

Beth

Maria: I would say it is a good thing that your stomach can’t handle a burger and fries. That means you are used to eating good food! I think that is awesome. Sorry that it made you feel yucky though. I guess there is a down side to being healthy. :confused3

Beth: Impressed with the Diet Coke. I am not even going to try to stop. I have tried before, gone through the pain and hated it! Then I end up drinking it again anyway. I just have no self control.

Tandy: I hate the hours before bed as far as eating goes. I tend to fall apart with dinner and after. I think it is because that is when I relax and hang out and watch T.V. Somehow that just pulls me down and I eat. I have been trying to stay active and watch less T.V. (for like 2 days now). Because if I am not home sitting there, I don’t even think about eating!

Sorry you had a bad running day. Good job listening to your body and stopping when you needed to. You probably saved yourself from some more pain.

Vicky: They were running shoes. I am 6’1’’ and I don’t own a lot of heels. I have some, but I only started wearing them a few years ago, so I am still not very comfortable in heels. Much happier in a pair of flats (It is a weird sensation to be 6’4’’!:rotfl2:)

As for Me: I am on day 3 of my current food tracking streak. I was up to 2 weeks not long ago, but I got sick and fell off the wagon for a week. But I am back to tracking that. I played racquetball last night with my DH and Dad. It was fun, a good way to add a little exercise. It was helpful because we had an assigned time and I couldn’t talk myself out of it (like I have been with exercise lately). Afterward we were running all over town to hardware stores. We were trying to fix a small problem with our house that is turning into a big problem. I guess it is true you never know what is really going on behind your walls until you cut a hole in them and look. :scared1:

I have a long day today, I have to stay late to attend a Board meeting. So I should be here until after 8. That makes for a 12 hour day. Don’t know if I will be walking after or not. If not, I will be back to it on Friday!

Good Afternoon, Lean Ones!

I really enjoyed the intervals, and felt like I got a great workout -- I'm definitely adding that into the routine! I got up and did 5M this AM. I think this was a PRO? I did the first mile at 4.8, then went up .1 each mile until I did the last one at 5.2. Again, still feeling good! :thumbsup2

I am absolutely counting my points! I had 2 for breakfast (vitamuffintop and and apple), and six so far for lunch (hummus, yogurt, grape tomatoes and red peppers), I'll probably have a few snacks this afternoon to get my daily total up to 12 or 15, it depends if I can resist the veggie chips...then onight's dinner is salmon, brown rice and steamed veggies, followed by 100 cal hostess cupcakes (they are so good! and only 1 pt!) for dessert. I think I will either make my pts or be under by one or two.

Ok, I just have to point out -- see that new clippie on the right of my siggie? Two weeks ago when I was totally cranking as master of the universe, hitting all my workouts and eating within my points, I lost 2.83% of my weight, and managed to come in 1st in the DIS BL Challenge for that week! Since our weightkeeper was out of town, the results just came out this week. What a boost! Just what I needed to motivate myself! I have never been the BL before, so this was huge for me! :woohoo:

Manda -- Great job with the tracking! Those long days are really hard -- I hope you can go for a walk at lunch to at least get a little fresh air :cool1:

Beth -- Thank you for the reminders, and the great recipe! We may try that this weekend, we are also looking at another wet weekend :umbrella:
I am so glad you are feeling better! We will lose this weight one pound at a time, it will happen! :goodvibes

Vicky -- I admit it, I don't do any weights. I own 5, 8 and 10 lb weights, and I know I should use them, I just have a very hard time getting started and then continuuing to use them. I do it while I watch tv, so there really isn't any excuse. Tonight, I promise I will use them! :thumbsup2 Thank you for the reminder! :yay: for the new wardrobe, it sounds super cute, and just the thing to have when you have df issues...shopping therapy always helps me! :rotfl:

Tandy -- The evenings are so hard! There are advantages to going to be at 9:30 -- less time to eat! :rotfl2: My latest strategy is I do everything I have to do on the 1st floor (where the kitchen is), then I go upstairs and don't come down until the next morning. I know that sounds silly, but it's working for me, when I actually do it ;)

Jackie -- I am so proud of you for staying away from those snacks! That took real fortitude! And your run sounds good to me...I've never gone faster than 5.3, but as I lose weight I intend to try to get faster -- but not now! ::yes::

Just a note -- I really do think carbs don't like me -- I'm still having little treats after dinner, but I am trying to have fewer of the bad kind during the day. :cutie:

Maria :upsidedow

Maria: I have to say the soup was a success for me this week. I am really glad I made it! I had it every day this week for lunch! Today, I added a little left-over taco meat to it. It is so good....and great left-over! It's help me eat well, but not be starving later in the afternoon!

I am glad the intervals went well. And, yes, sounds like the PRO run. Keeps you on your toes, and gives you a good calorie burn!

Congrats on the BL title! There are alot of people doing it, so you should really feel proud of that!

Manda: Keep up the good work.....we all have 'lay-overs' once and awhile. Good for you that you are back to it!

Beth

Beth - Thanks for the kind words! It's always hard to remember (for me anyway) that things don't always work themselves out overnight. And your workout queen comment made my day! I will remember that the next time I'm tempted my some sugary treat :)

Hi Everyone,

Beth: Congrats on eating well this week. Hopefully that is a good start to your goal of losing weight before your marathon.

Maria: Congrats on your point tracking today. Big congrats on your BL title from last week. I think intervals once a week is a great way to increase your fitness without being too overwhelming.

Manda: Good job tracking your food. That's really key to eating less. Hope the home repairs go well.

Vicky: Yea for new clothes. I hope things get easier with BF. I agree with Beth, ebb and flow. Lots of luck this weekend in your race. Yes, the 1/2 marathon was part of the training plan, so I didn't taper at all.

Tandy: I hope you are enjoying all your healthy food you bought. Sorry your ankle was hurting. Hope it's better. Sometimes things are just tight, but go away quickly. Hope that's the case.

Jackie: Good job resisting the treats.

This has been such a hard week for me. I'm not sure what exactly is going on, but I feel like I've lost all my oomph. I'm not sure if it was post-race blues, the rainy weather we had on Monday and Tuesday, my DH stressing about money, my kids being extra challenging or the 2 extra lbs I had on the scale this week, but I have just struggled this week. I must confess that I ended up having sweets everyday this week. I was so strict about it for 4 1/2 weeks and just folded like a house of cards. I even cut my run short on Wednesday because I didn't feel like doing it. I know I will be very upset with myself if I allow my dream of running in the Boston Marathon be marred by slacking in the 11th hour of training, so I really need to get my act together. I plan on getting all my nutrition books out tonight hoping for some inspiration. Adding to my frustration is that my stomach is hurting again after being pretty good for the last ten days. I called my Dr. for test results from all the procedures I had and they all came back normal. I guess it should be a relief that it's nothing major, but there's still no explanation. I'm starting to feel like maybe I'm crazy. On one good note, I got my Welcome Packet for the Boston Marathon today. I'm really getting excited for it.

Have a great night everyone.
Cindy

Maria - 5.3/5.4 is about as fast as I can comfortably go - anything over that and I'm gasping for breath. That one minute at 6.0 had me dripping wet and panting, but I figured if I don't push myself occasionally I'll never know what it feels like! I've actually gotten much more comfortable with faster paces outside, strangely enough, but inside they seem so much more difficult. And I'm just getting back to the weights too. This is probably my second week making a serious effort to work them into the routine. That was goal #3 for this year (Resume workouts with weights and/or Pilates on a regular basis.), so I'm trying really hard to make that one happen.

Manda - Please don't tell me what could be happening behind my walls. Two of the bathroom tiles fell off the wall last night, and DH said we need to cut a hole in the wall behind the shower to see what's happening in there. I'm afraid I don't want to know. :scared1: The joys of living in an older house... :sad2:

Vicky - I did NOT eat any of the treats. I decided I didn't care if I hurt anyone's feelings; the guy who brought them in is trying to lose weight too, so he should know better! I don't know what my next half goal will be. Maybe just to be comfortable at the 2:30ish time for now. I certainly don't expect any more big jumps like this last one!

Tandy
- How's the ankle? Sorry you had to cut the run short, but better to take it easy now. Oh, my friend and I took another at Chicago - registration has already closed. We won't be doing that one this year!

Beth - Marathon training and weight loss together are tough, but you're smart. You can do it. I think 15 sounds much more reasonable than 20 though. And it needs to be done slowly so you can stay strong.

I went last night and signed up for the half this weekend. I'm going to take it easy - no PR this time around, and I don't even want to come close to last weekend's time. We drove the course, and it is entirely too hilly to be trying to be speedy while still recovering from a hard race. I took the dog for a 2 mile walk/jog last night after we got home from registration (can't call it packet pickup, since it was just a shirt - it's a small race with a local promoter), then did weights later on. This morning the scale said the same thing it did yesterday, and TOM came yesterday too! Makes it so much easier to resist the extra stuff during the day and be good.

Jackie

Cindy: Boy, do I know how you feel. That is how I felt the two weeks before my 1/2 last weekend. I can't explain it, but I really had lost my mojo. It's hard to over-come. I am getting over it......but I didn't just have the mental issue, but also the physical 'lack of motivation' and general soreness. I am thinking it involved some over-training on my part.

Stay strong. Things will even out, and it will get done. Give yourself a little 'hug' from me, and remain positive. I believe in you, and all the training you have done.....now you just need to believe in yourself.

I am sorry your stomach is still an issue. No.....you are not crazy. Don't even think that. I believe we, as runners, know our body. There is an issue. It very well could be stress......still means there is an issue. Stress causes so many physical problems....maybe increase acid production? But, there is something causing your symptoms. Tests never tell the whole story.....you need HOUSE! He would certainly figure things out!

Life has a funny way of catching up to us.......'when it rains, it pours!' Do your best to keep it positive as much as you can. I always try to think of 3 positive things every day ((((b/c I tend to be very negative....my dh calls me Eeyore!))))) it keep myself grateful for all the good things. One of my biggys is the health of my family. We are a pretty hardy group, and I am so grateful for that!:goodvibes

Boston will be all you need it to be.....such an accomplishment! Even if it isn't the fastest race you ever run, it certainly will be the most meaningful. Be proud of what you have done.....I am!

Beth

Jackie: I think you have a good game plan with this race. Just have fun! I know that a hilly course is not a time to try to PR! ((((I have last weekend for my own example))))) I also find that I am usually faster outside, with less effort. Sometimes 'speed' work on the TM is such an endeavor! It's a struggle sometimes. Not usually a big problem when I am outside. It's weird.....it should be the opposite!

Have a good time this weekend!

Vicky: I am glad I gave you a little boost today, but I didn't say anything that wasn't true! I admire what you have done......and your workouts would kick my butt!

So, Lean Ladies, Spring has Sprung! Time to evaluate how we are doing with our goals. Maria is working on her speed and weight loss with a vengence! Vicky is looking at the longest distance she has ever run. Cindy is looking at BOSTON! Jackie PR'ed already this year! Manda did her 1/2 in great form! Rubato is one of our speedier Lean Ladies! Our little group is right on target! I am proud of all of you....keep up the good work!

Beth

Hey team...quick dry by as usual for me:guilty:

Weight remained the same this week, which I am actually OK with as it wasn''t a good one between TOM and bad choices....I will take the maintain.

Hey Vicky: sorry to hear of your DF issues, hope all is OK. I hope to still get to see you tomorrow. You have my cell. If things are crazy don't worry about it. Have a great race on SUnday. Lets hope the weather outlook changes.

Maria How is WW working for you? I have considered it many times but don't know if I could count points, is it very time consuming 12 - 15 points a day doesn't sound like alot of food.

Beth You are awesome, always have such wonderful positive things to say.

Sorry gang, gotta run, one of these times I am going to get in one of those long posts that say a shout out to everyone. But gotta get to get ready for work to pay for my running and disney addictions.

Have a awesome day everyone!!!
