Working at Disney Store give you a advantage ?

There are seasonal job openings at our local Disney Store. My 21yr College Senior DD is planning on applying for the Fall 2017 CP. I am encouraging her to apply for a seasonal position at the Disney Store. Do you think that would give her any advantage on the application for DCP? This will be her only chance to apply since she is graduating from college this spring so she needs all the help she can get!

It would look good because it's experience with the company, but it isn't necessary. There are plenty of people who get accepted without prior Disney work experience (some people have never even visited a park) and for CPs, it's their first job. What matters most is having strong experiences (work, volunteer, extracurriculars, etc.) on their application that they can talk about during the phone interview. There's also the risk of the job at the Disney Store ending on a bad note, which can negatively affect the DCP application.
