Workaround to buy tickets??

Now that my party of four has all already had Covid (hooray?!), we are ready to book for August and buy APs, but there's no way to buy tickets.

Am I missing some kind of work around or gift card or something?

No, you are not missing any work around or loophole. Disney is not selling tickets for 2020 at this time. Only tickets for 2021 may be purchased at this time. You'll just have to wait until they open up sales for 2020 park tickets. We all hope that will be soon.

I've read rumors that if openings are available, guests will be able to buy tickets at their hotel if they need them. That is just a rumour that I heard, no official word but it does make sense.
