*I posted this on the Scrapbook/Recipes Board too, but am not getting any response yet. Maybe you guys can help!*

Instead of an after-hours party, my work group is having a pitch-in brunch at one person's home.

The hostess is providing the main dish (breakfast casserole) and drinks. Someone else has already signed up for a hashbrown side casserole. We're supposed to sign-up to bring other stuff...

Help!!! I don't want to be boring (i.e., fruit salad), but want to bring something exciting!

Any suggestions?

This sounds like fun! :)

sausage balls
ham biscuits
grits casserole (it's on the label of the quaker grits package)

Mimosa's? Screwdriver's? Aaaah, a liquid brunch....yum! ;)

What about Mickey shaped waffles with strawberries and whipped cream?

Are you trying to make me hungry?;)

How about chocolate covered strawberries, shrimp, or some wraps.
I just had some chocolate mousse cheesecake that was to die for.

I just posted a few ideas over on the R&SB board that you might want to check out.

I forgot to include the Breakfast Lasagna from Crystal Palace as a suggestion. I'm not sure how long this will "hold" though. It would look pretty special, though.

BTW - MM, chocolate covered strawberries sound WONDERFUL!! :D :D :D :D

I have a recipe for phillo dough cream cheese and apricot pastries if you'd like it. They are made from store bought phillo dough. The good thing about them is that they are freezable so you can make them today and freeze them until you need them. :)

Saffron - Those sound wonderful! Would you please post or PM me the recipe? My mother loves apricots. This sounds perfect for her!
