Work From Home?

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I was wondering if anyone works or has worked from home using an internet based employer? I'm anxious to learn more info about this from people that have actually done this or are actively doing so. I would like to work from home if possible, but I'm hesitant to try any random website claiming to provide excellent at home opportunities (scams).

Any information about this would be greatly appreciated. Please PM me if you'd like. TIA

I have doing medical transcription. No paperwork. Everything was handled via computer. I would dial into a voice bank, type away, and electronically submit it back to the company. I did go to a local community college for school and to be certified though and not one of the mail order companies. My problem was I was to much of a procrastinator at home.
